shamyalan's premises are clever enough and i can definitely see him making good pitches but his execution is terrible. all of his movies except for airbender are very original scripts and definitely had potential to be a good movie - even The Happening. Whoever gave him the green light to direct instead of churning out scripts really did the film world a disservice.

Unbreakable is OK I guess but I found it to be disappointing given that the movie had more hype. I thought the Village was better but maybe it was because I had zero expectations for it.

Writing is theraputic, but also leaves you with a feeling of getting something done.

Scanning ten pages trying to find the Laron Profit thread my head hurts. I really miss the search function. If anyone can find and bump that thread would make me very happy. To much of an undertaking at almost 5 am....

You should be able to use Google to find anything you would've found with a site search:

Drive straight out Macarthur blvd. When the road turns north, park the car and walk.

Saw Etan Thomas at the hospital the other day. Dude is ripped. In top flex form. I personally would not want to try to take a basketball away from him if he was flailing those elbows around.

I've been all around there on the bike back in the day so probally walked up witht he bike to try and kill myself going down it. Brakes are very important on a bike. There are a few trails that were to hard to even walk up with the bike so that made it impossible to even think about going down on bike. Well hiking is fun, but flying on a bike is funner :0

Fortunatly cause I would hate to have people walking up that when I'm not there. Sounds very boring anyways even with me there.

took a 2 week hiatus from the site to fast and spend more time in the Bible, and it was about as effective as any fast I've concocted. Granted I read more than I post in these parts, but you don't realize how much time you spend doing something until you give it up!!

After watching the latest trailer for the movie The Expendables, I wish Randy Couture was my dad.

Went on my first post Mrs CCJ V 2.0 date last night. Went to see Inception.

At one point I nodded off. My date yawned, too, at one point. HORRIBLE flick as far as I am concerned. I made the mistake of believing another person's review and what I read on Rotten Tomatoes. Inception was so confusing to me it was not unlike times I was in Korea watching Korean TV and not being able to understand one word.It was like endless action and endless dreams within a dream. If you go for that sort of thing, fine. I don't.

Should have done my homework and gone to see some chick flick. No worries, though.
