Blazing Saddles was even funnier . . . until the last 5 minutes or so which truly sucked.

Random thought:

Ernie Grunfeld/Ted Leonsis vs My dog Lucky/Me

Ernie and Ted have committed $104,141,073 in basketball salaries for this season and yet have only one one more NBA basketball game than my Bichon Frise and me.

Put that onto your double bottom line, Ted.

Lucky's got style. Panache. I believe savoir faire, as well.

I was going to say, "That's dog's got mad swag(ger)" until I read this urban dictionary link. http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=mad%20swag

NOT AT ALL the way I define mad swag. It's like saying "___ has mad skills". Or "He/She has game".

Fun Fact: Lucky has a higher PER and more WS this season than Jason Smith. I think that deserves about $20 mil over 3 years? Would probably be amazing at getting the crowd into the game every time he subbed in, too.

Anyway - Nivek posted the newest PPA report for Wizards (https://kevinbroom.com/2016/11/08/wizards-staggering-to-start-season/#comment-22695). Quite interesting to see that second year in the row the highest PPA numbers are noted by Otto in the first week. Both Wall and Gortat are about same players as last year, whilst Beal is underperforming as always.

Anyone use miles to book flights? Trying to apply for the Chase Sapphire Reserve card and transferring those points to United miles, but do the miles needed to book a flight increase the closer you get to the flight, similar to how prices fluctuate or are the miles pretty steady?

When I used to use United Miles, they had so many restrictions on flights that any trip seemed to always entail really early morning departures, really late arrivals, or long layovers. Maybe it's different now, or at least if you plan far in advance you can get around those issues. I ended up using my miles for hotels and just buying tickets. I like air mile plans that reimburse ticket price, seems easier to get things done.

This http://www.nbcwashington.com/news/local/Woman-Seen-Using-Credit-Card-of-Missing-Bethesda-Man-408559725.html is all over the local news this AM. The missing man and his father are both clients of mine. If you're in the area, please keep an eye out for a woman who looks like the lady in the video - guessing from the video that she's wearing something very brightly colored clothes. Thanks.

I was watching the latest (2015) Jurassic Park movie on TV last night and it occurred to me.

Why do they keep making these movies? Haven't they figure out by now that the dinosaurs are gonna eat people?

dudes...

That's so stereotypical. I have a diplodicus neighbor who's a vegetarian, and everyone calls him a dip - that's ignorant.

It's like robot movies. The people always trust the robots, which always run amok and turn on the people.

I don't know if he'll be posting here or on the Bulls board.

But just in case he drops by here, welcome back to the RealGM boards SD20. We missed ya.

wow! i cant believe its been 10 years! Im giddy like a school girl to see my username to the left after I submit this. lol...

It sounds really silly but when I asked Howard Mass to reinstate SD20 I didn't think he would even answer my email. In my request for reinstatement I asked howard to speak to Pine and Pine went to bat for me. I am so thankful to both of them. This feels good. And I owe it to you both! Thank you, Pine!!!!! :)

whats up Dat!! yeah man...i cant believe its been 16-17 years since we started posting! we were kids back then! great to post again and thank you for the welcome back!

man that would be hilarious to get back into our old posts from early 2000's. i think they were kinda legendary! lol. i know i would feel really foolish AND AWESOME reading those!! back then there were no advanced stats and only kevin was using the early versions of them and debating using them. everyone else was eyeballing it so we actually had debates about players actually playing basketball...now the advanced stats win out.
