There's zero chance they trade back. Maybe one of their picks in the second. But they aren't trading down with the #2.

Have you seen Allar actually play? He’s awful.

This QB class is miles better than whoever is coming out next year.
19 years old, 6'5, went 10-2 with pen state, tossed for 2,300 yard with 23 TD and 1 int and had a QB rating of 101. But yeah he's terrible. Yes I've watched him play. I would take him over Caleb Williams tomorrow.

Elite QBs win you games or put you in a position to win. Allar got absolutely destroyed vs the only real competition he played against.
The 70 yards he threw against Michigan or the 191 he threw for against Ohio State with completion percentages around 45 percent…truly remarkable stuff.

I personally think JD5 is going to be a Lamar Jackson that can actually pass.

A low key fix to our Te issues.
Johnny Wilson from Florida.
6'7 230 22 years old.
He's technically a WR but he reminds me of Shannon Sharpe. This kid has speed and he's big enough to block if he can learn the skill. He's projected as a 4th - 6th rounder. I'd take him in the 3ed he's got talent.

Lots of excellent TEs this draft. Still have my heart set on Jatavion Saunders, though

I like saunders.
The NFL is this weird place where you can take dudes from a position in college and move them and probably have them have a better career than they would have.

I think Johnny Wilson has it. He's huge, fast, catches the ball and runs well. He's over looked cuz he did nothing his first two seasons and has a slight fall off from his really good 3ed year and he's slated as a WR.

The NFL set the 2024 cap at $255.4 million, a $30.6 million increase from 2023. It's the most significant increase since the NFL introduced the salary cap in 1994. No team enters free agency with more cap space than the Washington Commanders, and that number is now $87 million, according to Over the Cap.1 day ago

We can get to 100 pretty easy as well. I think we can waive Logan Paul, tress way, and Charles Leno you can save almost 20 mill. You can do some restructuring and save almost 20 more mill. You can easily get to 110 or 120.

I wouldn't trade Howell. We would just end up having to pay more for a backup.

Agreed. He was a fifth round pick on a rookie deal with starter experience. If the QB you draft isn’t ready, you start with Howell.

Thankfully, money isn't really a problem for us.

I'd trade Sam for a 3rd rounder in a heartbeat.

If it’s a good third rounder in the 60s, then yea because there are going to be good players in that range of the draft. Anything less would not be worth it, and I agree that he should be kept as insurance.

I wouldn't trade him because hes good competition for any rookie brought in. He's probably better than any rookie you might get. He's good! Keep him unless the jets are stupid enough to give you a second lol.
