I'd trade Blatche for Thomas, but I wouldn't trade him for Murphy's expiring.

C'mon, we get the sloth off our books and we can even re-up Murphy for a reasonable amount next season. He's a better rebounder than Blatche and whatever we lose defensively we make up for in IQ. It's great!

Blatche is better then Murphy. And I hear so many people complaining about are frontcourt being soft, which is justifiable, but Murphy would just add to the problem. All he is is a jumpshooting big man. And NO I am not interested in re-upping him next season THANK YOU. And Blatche is only 24 and still has time to become better. I think you're the only one that wants this trade to go down.

Okay, it's not so much Blatche you hate; it's the Wizards you hate.

NJ doesn't even want him around the team. New Jersey...

^ What happened to Lewis when he got here can't happen to Murphy? I think we'd get something much closer to the old Troy Murphy than what you're seeing in NJ. And if not, then don't re-sign him and use the cap space on somebody else.

Just giving you a hard time, Rico. I've just never cared for Murphy as a player - even though he's put up some good numbers. I think he'd be a bad fit here on a young running team.

I would do it.

If the Nets also send their first rounder. Let's say... top 5 protected in 2011, top 3 in 2012. Blatche has way more value than an expiring, especially Troy Murphy.

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

I doubt they'd include one of their own firsts, but I'd settle for the Dallas pick.

Portland supposedly interested in Randolph. Would they take Blatche?

Blatche+Thornton for Przybilla+Rudy?

Isn't Aldridge basically a better version of Blatche.

Not sure if this goes here but with the news that Melo is basically going to wait until FA to sign with the NYK it means NYK will have to renounce Wilson Chandler making him an unrestricted free agent. He's basically a bigger stronger version of Butler when he was TJ. I know the Wiz already have a ton of space invested in Rashard who also plays SF, but that's not long term.

Chandler would be a perfect SF to team with Wall since he's got good 3 range, can attack the basket, boards well, rugged defender, and provides toughness. The Wiz would be set at 1-2-3 with Wall-Young-Chandler for a long time. Add in a high lotto pick big man with Blatche/McGee/Seraphin and the Wiz could be in great shape long term.

It's going to be tough to pull off unless we dump Hinrich for expirings before the Trade Deadline. I figure any number of teams will offer Chandler the MLE so we need to free up a bit more than that to get him.

GSW are looking for a 'superstar' in return. I think they will be lucky to get an 'all-star' or 'borderline all-star' player. Unless they go after Melo, Denver would be foolish to turn down a trade that got them Curry, but Melo wouldnt stick around obviously.

GSW should just be patient, but I guess they are desperate for a superstar to tandem with Ellis.

What would Washington be looking for in a deal with Hinrich and how severe is his injury?

At first I thought you meant Zach Randolph. :(
