Saw Thompson play up here in Bawlmer when Rider played Loyola. He does have the body and a decent game, but plays smaller than his 6-10 which isn't a good thing. Thought he might be a late first, early 2nd type.

Someone good will be at #18.
The highest remaining player on my board is Marresse Speights. Roy Hibbert isn't far behind. I also like Anthony Randolph although he's really raw.

Doesn't it seem like someone always slips to the #10 pick? (Lopez, Bayless)
Who is going to slip to #18? Hibb? Jordan? It looks like we will have our pick of players we liked. This also adds a lot of trade value to move down

I'd still like to see them trade the pick. My inkling is that if Arthur isn't there, they trade it. Unless they saw something in Donte Greene I didn't see.

The Blazers are stockpiling a heck of a lot of young talent on that team.

Rudy Fernandez will ensure Brandon Rush stays attached to the bench. Rudy is the real deal.

"Jason Thompson was the best big man that we worked out"
I'm so glad Ernie doesn't base his pick solely on workouts. What a terrible draft strategy.

I even forgot about Rudy. That's almost too much talent.Dat2U wrote:Chocolate City Jordanaire wrote:Portland gets another stud talent.

They almost have to move Webster and Jack or Blake, along with Raef's (if they can deal him) or perhaps Pryzbilla's contract.
Rush will be a defensive sub in the mold of Bruce Bowen, IMO.

Randolph and Brandan Wright at the Forward position. Warriors have some raw talent there

Yep, their both long, lean & athletic. I really like that combo down the road, especially w/ Biedrins in the middle.
