Sounds like we should abolish the electoral college and go with one person = one vote. Who's with me?!??!

Yes because states with low populations have disproportionate number of electoral votes.
You're literally arguing right now that Trump, by not implementing Russian sanctions, is speaking for the will of American land mass
And conversely five or six massive u.s. cities should not determine the entire "will" of the all the people of the United States as an entire country.
Just because those cities are massively overpopulated and extremely dense. With a significant population of uneducated and under-educated even non-english-speaking!! entitlement sucking populace.... Those people should determine the will of the entire United States? Really?
Look I don't think the hillbillies In The Sticks should have too much say in the direction of our country and I also don't think the uneducated folks in the cities should have too much say either.
But above all of that at some point are elected officials need to get prudent, need to get pragmatic, I need to solve actual problems of the debt crisis. And govern based almost solely in terms solving the debt crisis while simultaneously considering all other social and foreign policies.

There's also the problem of California and New York having disproportionate electoral weight because their population totals are inflated by illegal aliens (who count toward electoral weighting even if they can't vote).[/quote
Tweedle Dumb & Tweedle Dee in tandem defending the indefensible!
So in the same way Texas & Florida both went for Trump didn't benefit!

Seems logical to me.
President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

The reality is they are likely to high!
4 elections this week in deep red Missouri where Trump romped by huge margins the Republicans won 3 lost 1 but a 2nd was very close.
State elections are being won in red states in tough Republican seats the pattern of things to come. Plus Pennsylvania will be redistricted giving Democrats extra seats from the Gerrymandering of the Republicans.
Fabrications? He won States by two to three points that he was down by HRC as much as four to five points a week before the election.
At one point 538 gave him like a 7% chance of winning. His closest percent to winning I think was 20 to 25% at 5:38.

Porn is a PUBLIC HEALTH HAZARD IN KANSAS

But Senate Resolution 1762, sponsored in part by Republican Sen. Mary Pilcher-Cook, uses fake science to draw misleading and false conclusions about porn. Much of the language is ripped right out of a similar resolution passed by Utah last year ― one that was debunked by the very scientists it references.

I called this a week ago. Look it up. I'm jumping back in it 22500. Oh yeah! Given that I jumped out at around 26000, I am feeling pretty good today.

New witness testified yesterday. This is brand new testimony from an entirely new witness. The Obama doj disregarded this witness's testimony the first time around because the Obama doj FBI and CIA as well as Secretary of State and Obama himself all wanted this deal to go through.
I'm telling you this is credible. This is happening. This is as big of a corruption Scandal as the Trump surveillance Scandal and in fact they're all tied together because the same players had the same ideas and it was for HRC to be president and to see this thing through. Putin screwed them over first time around and that's why Putin became Enemy Number One. And that's why the current Congress as well as all the Obama holdovers do not want Trump talking to Putin because Putin is going to tell Trump exactly what happened.
I have not been wrong on any of these "conspiracies" yet and I can guarantee you I'm definitely not wrong on this one.

It's there. go back and read them. might not be Thursday but it was in the around a wwek- 2 weeks ago I began pulling everything out and even mentioned why I believe.
Then 3 days ago I said that I would jump back in at 22,500. And brought it up again yesterday or the day before. I did alter to 23500 but I think I will wait till 22-5. Perhaps lower.
This thing just got way to overheated way too fast.

Re: Political Roundtable Part XVIII
LOL. Trump is doing it again:
This is classic Trump political gamesmanship. Sure, a parade is a kind of silly idea, but it's another political win-win for Trump. Most of his base will love the idea, people in the middle will either like it or they won't care much either way, and the hard left is going to freak out and call Trump a lunatic dictator. Trump doesn't actually lose any support because the hard-left types already hated him in the first place, and he might gain a few more voters in the middle who are pro-military but not necessarily pro-Trump. But the big win is that he gets to paint the hard left as overtly anti-military and he'll goad them into making insane arguments while they waste political capital attacking Trump on a totally irrelevant issue. "There they go again. Those irrational leftists hate EVERYTHING Trump says or does. Time to tune them out."
This is basically the NFL kneeling protest all over again. That time, he made the left declare how much they hated the notion of standing for the flag and supporting America.
