it'd be nice to do a survivor league, pick 'em league, or yardage league. more spots available and less commitment.

I thought I'd already posted that I was taking this year off as fantasy commish, but maybe I didn't. Yeah, I'm drastically reducing my fantasy football load this year. I'm going from 7 teams down to 2 and I'm not commish-ing at all.

Anyone that's interested, feel free to step up and create a league!

Pray for Mikhail Torrance. Recall that Mikhail's stock dropped to the point of going undrafted because it came out that he had/has a heart problem.
BRADENTON, FLA -- Mikhail Torrance, former University of Alabama basketball star who recently signed a contract to play professionally in Israel, was rushed to a hospital after collapsing at the start of a workout today. He was unconscious while being rushed to nearby Blake Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Fla.

In 1995-96 Gheorghe Muresan had a PER of 21.0, an ORtg of 114 and a DRtg of 102. Wowzer.

Here's the latest:

http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/news/story?id=5499165

Former Alabama player Mikhail Torrance, who collapsed at a workout last Friday in Bradenton, Fla., was breathing on his own Wednesday after being taken off a ventilator, AOL Fanhouse reported.

Torrance still hasn't regained consciousness since his collapse but a hospital spokesperson told AOL Fanhouse that his condition has been upgraded to "serious but stable."

Torrance reportedly suffered a heart attack. Torrance's agent, Happy Walters, told AOL Fanhouse that, if his client awakens soon, he expects doctors to implant a device in Torrance to prevent another heart attack.

Walters said that there has been some movement in his clients' arms and legs. A CT scan performed Tuesday came back negative, AOL Fanhouse reported.

"This is great news, very significant," Walters told AOL Fanhouse. "And we're hoping for more soon. We're hoping he wakes up soon.''

the abbreviation BBIQ makes me hungry.

also, an acronym is prounounced as a word - aka laser, or scuba. things like BBIQ, PF, AAA, NAACP are merely abbreviations.
