Yes, because the overriding issue on the Trump investigation is the corruption within the FBI, DOJ, CIA and State Department. If those agencies are corrupt, how can they be expected to fairly investigate Trump without bias? The Hillary email scandal is Exhibit A in the corruption of the FBI/DOJ.

In the real world of actual facts and evidence, Mueller's work and indictments, have nothing to do with right-wing conspiracy theories that aren't being pursued by Trumps own DOJ, that should tell you everything we need to know.

Unfortunately for you guys, I read *all* the words in the article, so go sit on it. You guys are conducting the worlds most pathetic and sad witch hunt ever. You’re just embarrassing yourselves. Have some dignity and admit you were wrong the entire time, and that you elected a traitorous grifter who has literally taken all you patsies for a trillion and a half dollars. That’s “trillion” with a “t.” Oh and the 58 dead Palestinians he is directly responsible for, and the coming war with Iran which will wreck our economy once and for all, and the short, miserable lives of your grandkids who will die from pollution exposure if they don’t die from lack of health care first. And they’ll be the lucky ones because they’re white. You disgust me. You’ve disgraced our country for what? To cling to the remnants of white supremacy. It’s sickening.

Look at the Dow Jones since January. You’re going to feel that in a year or so. I hope you all lose your jobs to the Chinese he sold you out for.

Comey unquestionably helped Trump get elected. It's not up for debate. Hillary had a huge lead in the polls. You can see for yourself:

The Comey Letter Probably Cost Clinton The Election
By Nate Silver

Hillary Clinton would probably be president if FBI Director James Comey had not sent a letter to Congress on Oct. 28. The letter, which said the FBI had “learned of the existence of emails that appear to be pertinent to the investigation” into the private email server that Clinton used as secretary of state, upended the news cycle and soon halved Clinton’s lead in the polls, imperiling her position in the Electoral College.

Your conclusion that the FBI and DOJ are broadly CORRUPT because they 'helped' Hillary is baseless.

And for about the 20th time in the last yearZonker is clearly demonstrating that he hates America.

And because he’s mad and has no argument he resorts to calling people racist.

Call me later oops Comey letter. my ass. HRC and her people had bogus polling info. They had no idea how close it was in Wisconsin and Michigan and really Pennsylvania for that matter. They knew it was close in Florida so they spent all their campaign time there. And by campaign, I mean everybody else but HRC was doing the campaigning. I think she was getting fitted for a back brace or a cast on her arm. And seeing a specialist for the falling sickness. The woman was notFit for office let alone to even campaign for office. And when she did campaign, 300 people or less would show up compared to the 30,000 or more showing up for Trump. Even Bernie was pulling crowds of 10,000.

Assuming this is true (that a quid pro quo exists) then I have a real problem with it. Trump's business arrangements upon taking office present, and will continue to present, a land-field of conflicting interests. He should work quickly to mitigate any appearance of impropriety.

If news reports are correct, it appears there may be an impropriety. If so he should address it ASAP. What is laughable about that.

A spittle-flecked incoherent rant is not an argument. The fact that you are immediately resorting to name calling proves that you have no logical response to the argument well laid out by SD20.

Yes. This has always been a difficult issue. The fact is, Trump had an international business before he became President. It's impossible for the decisions he makes as President to not affect his business. He attempted to sever ties with his business and turn it over to his kids, but we all know that's not really severing ties. But it's also not reasonable to expect him to turn over the business he built to total strangers.

I think it's important to keep an eye on deals like this, but also put it into context. Trump lost hundreds of millions of dollars by running for President. He instantly alienated half of the population as a customer base. He spent millions of his own money on the election. He ended his lucrative role as a reality TV star. I have a hard time believing that he ultimately decided to run for President in order to make money. The venture has surely been a major drain to his profits and net worth.

this ZTE thing is clearly nothing more than a concession to china on either soy n other red state china imports or dir3ectl;y related to North Korea.

if anyone has NOT noticed. This does NOT sound like trump at all. So he is attempting to negotiate something here.

I mean come on folks. We cant win every damn thing trump fights for? Can we? #toomuchwinning is not good for the soul (you lose the hunger for it). :-)

This is not something you have evidence of, and it is very likely incorrect. None of us know his exact financial situation, but every indicator is that he is worth a tiny fraction of what he claims, he is actually quite possibly broke and at best has very little liquidity.*

It's true running for President was harmful to has branded properties, but I would bet he's worth a lot more now than he was in 2015. He's been raking in millions in quid pro quo deals. If the Rosneft stuff alone is true (it is), well that's $282 million he's bringing home in exchange for US foreign policy.

If he lost the election he could have started Trump TV and raked in millions as well. Trump has profited massively off the presidency and his campaign run.

He’s got a small army of special prosecutors that hate him, with an unlimited budget, probing every detail of his life and a media that despises him and you don’t think he’s going to be held accountable?

You highlighted the sentence in my post that you had a problem with so there should be no question as to my meaning. I said “should”, not “would”. In addition, I’ve never portrayed Trump as a victim so that too is inaccurate. But I won’t LOL at you JW, it’s not polite.

Why are you playing semantics here and being overly sensitive? I know exactly what you meant. It's the equivalent of someone loling if I said "Ted Leonsis should fire Ernie Grunfled." Wink wink nudge nudge, it aint happening and I wouldn't take offense to it.

And secondly "small army of special prosecutors that hate him, with an unlimited budget, probing every detail of his life and a media that despises him." That's a a lot of conjecture based on your own opinion. Say nothing of the fact that you think you have a damn clue what the prosecutors motivations are other than they "hate him. You've already concluded that this investigation is unfair and they can't do their jobs...ala that judge can't rule on me. He's Mexican. So yes my friend, Trump is a victim in your eyes.

Sad! :D
