I think I need some help with that BSilv

Can you give some examples of Trumpists policies she's previously but no longer
advocates for? Saying she's only doing it to be on TV is ignoring that she is no
longer in the good graces of all the right wing echo chamber "think' tanks
she may have been a darling of previously.

I don't claim to be an expert on all things Rubin or Gerson, another righty
who has gone all out against Trump. Even George Will is pretty staunchly
anti-Trump as was Krauthammer although he, Will, still tries to also go
after Dems whenever he can.

The hard thing about that is that Trump's policies really boil down to
simply owning the libs and doing whatever the opposite of what BHO did.

I personally think it should be under the house and not under the treasury. My two cents...

Matt's thread makes one thing really clear. The Fed's independence is code word for aristrocracy. They have been perpetually inflating inequality.

I will take this to my grave, but nothing pisses me off that second amendment and people who rally to keep it. AMerican people are living in a bubble, its a cause of dominant culture, where no one knows anything outside their borders. They can't perceive medicare for all working, tho it works for every western country in the world basically, and they cant perceive that strict gun laws actually makes environment safer, not the opposite. Well, the latter might not be true, because most of NRA stans do not care for safety or bettering their country, they only care about their gun fetish, because they are selfish. How many times you saw these people tweet how they not gonna take HIS gun from HIM, how hes gonna fight anyone who tries. They are selfish, they dont care people are being killed in movie theaters and schools as long as they can keep their toys is all that matter. They do not care for anyone but themselves.

I used to be very bitter not living in USA and not being an American, I was salty that my wage i smaller than US minimum wage, I felt I have no shot in this world. But then I realized how actually lucky I was living where I got to. I am sick person, I use medication and treatment daily, and I get most of it for free. If I was american, no matter how x times bigger my salary was, right now I would probably be in medical debts anyway, . If I was alive, because I suffered from strong depression and tried to wack myself once, and I can only imagine that if I lived in a country where anyone or any household has easy access to shooting weapon, that would be an easier job.

President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

A priority to protect human lives is now controversial in some right-wing corners. Indeed, both in their resistance to funding hospitals and state and local governments that provide life-saving, essential services, and in their unabashed priority of economic activity over human life, Trumpian Republicans display their cavalier, reckless and, yes, inhumane outlook. The hypocrisy of a party that styles itself as “pro-life” has never been so obvious nor so appalling.

A point many of us have been making for a long time, actually since before Trump.

Rubin is the supreme hypocrite. It seems she's to decided it's best for her journalist career to be an anti-Trumper. Now she can be a frequent guest on CNN or MSNBC. Much of what Trump has done has been her position in the past. Now she criticizes him for actions she previously supported.

Jennifer Rubin, similar to Rick Wilson is actually holding true to their Conservative principles. They’re examples of how every Republican should be speaking out against Trump. Trump may have adopted Conservative policies for political expedience but what people like Rubin and Wilson point out is that getting policies passed is not worth the human rights abuses, the damage done to Democracy and the destruction of the country.

They envy his consequence-free world, feel ownership of it, desire it for themselves, and become blindly defensive when they perceive it threatened by political opponents, foreign leaders, journalists, people with knowledge and reason, puppies and kittens.

Sort of sequel to Ayn Rand’s The Virtue of Selfishness: A New Concept of Egoism; Donald Trump’s The Virtue of Thoughtlessness: A New Concept of Narcissism.

Looks like Pelosi was the adult in the room getting relief for governments and hospitals coupled with the small business relief.

Looking forward to how the spin, "evil Pelosi holds xyz hostage, Trump rescues..."

I know the feeling.

My cousin passed away Friday.

Went to hospital a few weeks ago with complications from diabetes.

They think he may have contracted COVID in the hospital. :-?

Sorry to hear that Zonker and WizPride, and I’m sure I’m not alone.

Authentic loss makes Trump’s leadership failure all the more glaring.

Yeah, they are starting to add up - four that I routinely do business with...

But that is nothing like a close friend or extended family member.
