So if the Wizards had Tim Duncan then you wouldn't mind Arenas coming off the bench. Uh...ok

Gilbert's stats prior to injury put Joe Johnson's to shame. When was the last time Joe averaged 29ppg? Thought so. So like I said, when was the last time he came off the bench cause Gilbert is clearly at minimum as good, and at best a MUCH better player than Joe Johnson

Yeah that whopping 4 point difference over JJ's best year puts JJ to shame. he certainly has JJ dominated in the turnover department. And defense....

Um, not sure why you can't see the point that a team's BEST player should not come off the bench. If the Wizards had Tim Duncan, he would be their best player and would completely change my opinion on Gilbert coming off the bench, Yes thank you for understanding finally.

And a whopping 4 points? That's a significant # especially when your boy is supposed to be the SG. He's never won anything more than Gilbert, he's never out-produced him statistically, there is NO reason to try and argue like he is some kind of better player, he's NOT.

It's also no coincidence that your boy's 4 straight All Star appearances have coincided with Gilbert's injury/suspension. If Gil never gets injured, JJ never makes most those All Star teams.

and Joe Johnson's defense? GTFOH.

But he's our Starting SG and Captain? How could he not make jumpshots?

Agreed that Arenas is/was a much better player than Joe Johnson. Not only that, but a better team-mate and person. I think a lot of people have forgotten when Gil took 111 Mil over the full 127 million so that the Wizards could sign better players, Johnson on the other hand squeezed out every penny he could from the Hawks, crippling their flexibility to sign pretty much anyone and will most likely be the cause of their inevitable downfall. All this while Johnson gets older and richer.

Hinrich is our starting SG.

Gilbert Arenas comes off the bench.

Still confused.

I'm glad your so proud of Mr. 2nd Round over there too, he's got absolutely nothing on Gilbert except maybe an inch in height. Joe Johnson's defense? GTFOH.

JJ has always been known for his defense and is 6'7" barefoot.

Somehow i am not surprised that you think Arenas is 6'6".

I think the team is playing pretty well with respect to effort and strategy. They're just making way too many unforced turnovers, and they can't hit a shot. We're losing the turnover battle 13-4.

Am I the only one that feels much better about Heinrich's shot when he's being contested? It's like when he's wide open he ALWAYS misses. Really strange.

Hinrich has been pretty bad but he is healthy. Most of the other available options are either hurt or recovering from injuries.

If everyone was healthy then i could see griping about Hinrich's minutes. Right now it seems a bit silly.

lmao, come on now. Arenas is very close to 6'4 and Joe Johnson is NOWHERE near 6'7, more like 6'5, but you keep believing that.

Somehow I'm not surprised you don't know very much at all.

I'd like to see some more of Cartier Martin at SF. We need somebody who can make shots. He'll probably guard Roy better than Hinrich does too.

We're hustling and getting good looks (when we're not willingly passing the ball out of bounds or to the other team), we just happen to be bricking all of them.

How come Flip refuses to have this team try for a 2-for-1 when the quarter is drawing to a close? Most legitimate NBA teams will put up a quick shot when the have the ball with 35-40s left, allowing them to play D and get the ball back for the final shot. We never even attempt to do this, even when we're down 10 points and it actually makes sense.

Arenas is 6-2.5". Johnson is a legit 6-7.

So are we still ignoring that Kirby has been a more effective jump shooter so far this year than both Gil and Wall or what? Not that I'm a huge fan of the guy or that I don't agree it would be nice if he played a little less and never ever at small forward but seriously, where is this Ken can't shoot thing coming from?

BTW, if Joe Johnson is so great, then why is he being OUTPERFORMED STATISTICALLY by the inferior Gilbert Arenas when JOE JOHNSON is the one coming off the 120 million dollar signing. His contract will make people forget about Gilbert's quicker than ever. The guy is a COMPLETE JOKE.
