It's at the point where I want a starting lineup of Wall/Mason/Singleton/Booker/Seraphin

And I f'n HATE Seraphin with a passion. I think he has zero actual talent. And I'd STILL rather him be out there than McGee.

I really don't care that we'd lose every game by 20 or 30 points.

I really don't care that our assets worth trading would be depreciating.

I just want to watch a team that doesn't royally piss me off.

Ill take that except substitute Singelton for Evans or Ves. I cant watch Singelton anymore either

I don't think so, nate. This wasn't a "the guys gave it their all and showed improvement but were just out gunned" type of loss, this was a "they should have won but they are so stupid that they gave up the lead" type of loss. There's nothing to be learned from this except that most of the guys on this roster shouldn't be here next year.

+1 I was shocked to see him pass to Seraphin. I'm glad Grunfailed was not able to re-sign him.

He did resign him. Qualifying offer. 3.7M

Nick left money on the table that he may never make back. Not much but 1.3M this year. I'll take it if he doesn't want it.

Ernie keeps drafting clunkers. All 3 picks this year suck and as bad as the wizards are...the caps are worse

What next, we still have a lot of games left. I would release Mason and bring-in two hungry D-league guys who give a shyt.

this loss is 99% on wall. he was absolutely invisible on offense in the 2nd half. plus he had at least 4 unforced turnovers. and he let tiny isaiah thomas completely abuse him in the 4th.

should have never opened his fat mouth when they were up early. came back to bite him in the ass big time.

This times infinity. They need to just tell Pam to pick JaVale up and wait for the call with the name of the team he's been traded to. Enough is enough.

you can talk about rebuilding all you want but you cant put a product out like that on the floor. You just cant. The fans and the paying customers dont deserve that. You owe them big next year. You owe them to make a huge jump. You have to speed the process up due to how bad its been.

I mean, there are a handful of other bad teams in the league but we are the only one who is consitently trashed and made fun of in the media. We are a running joke. Even teams who have worst records then us dont get ripped like we do because the product doesnt look the same.

We dont look like an NBA team. We look like a tape you put in to tell kids how to not play. Just selfish street ball with low IQ. No chemistry, and a horrible system. I cant watch it anymore. Not to mention we show no heart and go into the tank at the 1st sign of trouble. Man its bad. They actually have me looking forward to seeing Dray

Don't sign Nick Young for more than 5 million. He has ADD or something, he just doesn't have it all upstairs to be a starter or heavy minute player.
If Vesely doesn't start shooting jumpers off the dribble soon, get rid of him to whoever wanted him in draft and maybe get another draft pick.
Get rid of Grunfeld, he doesn't know how to bring in staff that develop project players quickly and efficiently. Loves to pick up projects but has a poor track record of turning them into finished projects quickly.
Wall is decent, booker is decent off the bench. McGee is decent depending on the matchup but is more of six man player.
Wall is the only starter on the court most of the time and the reason is because Grunfeld doesn't know how to develop his projects into finished projects quickly which shows he really isn't qualified to lead hte organization.
You don't draft a bunch of projects players unless you are certain that you can transform them into finished projects quickly. Since Leonsis, his drafts picks have been better but the infrastructure for the wizards is still weak.
The fact that we have roger mason and crawford as back up to mentally weak young is testimony to Grunfeld's lack of skill. We should at least have above average mentally savy veteran that can fill at starter with nutcase young starting.
Having Vesely as a powerforward--if that's what Grunfeld saw in him, and not a player that he can turn into a shooter, then grunfeld should be fired on the spot.
Build your team w/5 shooters using P. Pierce Form deeply bent hips and lower back arch at same time b4 rising into shot. Elbow never pointing to the ground! Good teams have an engine player that shoot volume (2000 full season) at 50 percent.Large Hands

Great idea. Please send that to Ted and EG and back date it by 3 weeks.

Kings found Isaiah Thomas with the LAST pick in the draft... are you kidding me? we can't even draft a decent guy in the top 10 last year

I was going to talk about this also. It makes me mad watching Deron Williams hit 8 threes, watch Lin jack it up, watch every guard we play put it up, and Wall not even attempting a real J. It kills him and us. Then when he's forced to take it he has no confidence. He'll never reach his full potential if he doesnt get a better J.

How can pros be that bad at shooting anyways? I get that you could get to the hoop anytime you wanted your whole life but you never practiced shooting? Its mind boggling. Even if he had a bad J it would be ok. His J is even worst then bad. Its non existent. Even then one's he makes, I dont like and all of them are shorter jumpers. Man I miss Gil pulling up

Wall's lack of supporting cast is killing him more than his jumper. Seriously, does he have one serviceable starter in the lineup? i'd argue that everyone besides Wall would be backup role players at best on other teams...IMO, this loss seals it for Grunfeld. He is a goner.

Ernie was not able to sign Young to a longer deal, he tried.

Wittman is the main reason why we lost. His 2nd half coaching was beyond awful.

And I don't know why the tam won't put Vesely at starting SF. I think he would be a better option than Lewis and Singleton, and he's getting eaten up at PF and gets into foul trouble quick. He will never be successful at PF. They need to develop his SF skills.

There is a difference between not being able to sign him and Nick not excepting what he was worth. So he got less. Short of trading him, that was the best EG could do.

Get Nick out of here ASAP. This team has to start getting smarter and the way to do that is to get ride of the stupid players. Nick is not learning. He can't dribble. All he can do effectively is catch and shoot and he won't stick to that.

They have to move on. The roster needs to continue to get cleaned up so there is some progress made.
