Beal showing serious signs of greatness tonight, looks like it really does take him 20-25 games to really start ramping up and did the corpse of Vinsanity just dunk down the lane

Beal is 7-16 FG, 4-7 3PT with 21 points. (Carter has 21 points, Mayo 15 points)

Okafor has 14 points, 11 rebounds and is +8 in 25 minutes. He's definitely playing better.

This is a good loss.

If it was Crawford making that shot, you be screaming about how Wittman should have played your preferred lineup all game long.

You are missing the point. As usual.

You mean that Randy is an idiot for not playing a guy who missed the last game with a sore ankle for 48 minutes at the point?

That's my boy! Good job! Good effort! :)

I've got two sons, aged 10 and 12. If their youth sports team isn't good (first impression of their coach is IDK) I hope they've got a kid like "Good effort boy" on their team.

I don't know what line of work that kid is going into, but he's freaking HIRED! Rare motivational skills. Kids sees a drop of water as a glass half-full.

The Wizards radio announcers are talking about Beal's missed shots that "should have been makes." Dave Johnson just said, "instead of a 22-point game those will be 30-point games.'

I know he's going to get some tweets and calls calling him essentially a moron.

This player is 19 YEARS OLD and he's balling with 28-35 year-old guys, like Mayo, Carter, and Nowitzki.

I don't see how folks don't get this. It is NOT TIME YET.

Actually it is a senseless pointless coaching loss.

They were tearing it up in the first. They outrebounded them 20 to 8 and they outscored them 29 to 23

Your boy Mack is pretty much what he was when he left. He can't defend. He slows down the offense by resetting at every chance he gets. He does some things good but not enough to over come the bad.

This team is just going to continue to suck until the get Wall back because Randy won't use Crawford at PG instead of Mack. Hell, even AJ Price would help but he isn't do back for at least a couple weeks.

They played well in the first half when Temple was at PG. Everytime they turned to Mack, they sucked. Called it before it even happened. Temple ended +6 Mack was - 15 Collison was torching him all night.

Kevin S was a no show on the boards. 2 in 25 minutes and Nene couldn't cover for him 5 rebounds in 25 minutes. If that happens they are going to lose. Crawford started off really hot but he only got 25 min and scored 9 pts on 4-9 shooting. Combine those things together and they will lose every time.

So unless Randy wakes up ( not holding my breath ) its going to be 3 more weeks of suck unless Temple can stay out of foul trouble and log 40 minutes a night.

I'm surprised you're still listening to hands at all.

I was thinking the same thing. Beal is legit, he has a bright future.

Just as I've been saying that folks should wait to judge Beal when he's played badly, we would be wise to do the same when he plays well. Beal gave a look at the kind of player he CAN be -- if he works hard, focuses, matures, etc., etc.

But, LOTS of guys have had good games here and there, and not had good careers. What I'd say to Beal is this: Good game. Now do it again. And better.
