No, that's still a stretch at this point. If his jumper looked this good every night he'd simply be Jrue Holiday.
His D is better, he's faster and his TO rate is higher. Other than that, yeah, I suppose...

Wall's speed and reflexes are also pretty sweet on D. He makes some amazing defensive plays - that last one was terrific.

His D isn't significantly better. Holiday is actually one of the better defensive PGs. Wall's clear advantage is athleticism of course, but Holiday has a much more polished offensive game.

I didn't mean to imply that Holiday has no D, but Wall is better, maybe not significantly so, but definitely better. And yeah, the big difference other than the offensive game is Holiday doesn't revel in TOs as much.

I heart Okafor's rebounding.

Case in point. Wall is taking over the game right now with his D. Not lots of PGs do that.

Wall's displaying the whole package tonight; defense, shooting touch, knocking down the freebees, passing well. Save a couple errant TO's, he's been the reason why we are in this game, along with Okafor's rebounding and our three point shooting.

John Wall is having a very solid game. Outside of the couple of bad turns, he's looked excellent. He should have a out 3 more assists too.

Seraphin is working hard out there on defense. I think the benching has helped him wake up a bit.

True, Wall is a terror on the defensive end. Very few PGs can do what he's doing.
But case in point, as I'm typing he continues to make the brainless TOs that keep him from being an elite PG even if he had a jumper.
Holiday actually has a TO problem as well, but it's not as bad as John's.

Why can't we defend Rubio the same way everyone defends Wall? Just back off of him and give him the jumper.

Can we get this performance from Wall every night?

I agreed with you on that. Wall really has to be more conservative wth the ball.

We very well might. Just not this year.
