I think we'll be able to measure Wall's progress by how he comes back from this poor shooting performance in the first half.

Consider this; we're without 5 key player who all get regular playing time - Nene, Webster, Beal, Ariza and Price. Our 2nd, 3rd and 4th leading scorers, our best perimeter defender and our only true back up point guard. We're reduced to playing 8 guys. Wall has had his worst shooting half in a month, as a team we're shooting 30%, against a top 3 team, and one of the most unbeatable home teams in the league. And yet we trail by only 8 :)

Some on Twitter are saying that Wall is shooting too many perimeter shots. Perhaps, but he doesn't have too many lanes with Ibaka and Perk (and even Thabeet) lurking down low. The only perimeter player they have that can spread the floor is Cartier Martin.

A lot of Walls shots have been forced but he doesn't have much choice playing with this bunch.

The lanes are clogged tonight. The only way Wall is gonna put up points is by channeling his inner Kobe Bryant and hoping those contested jumpers start falling.

+1

I actually think he's played well so far. Jumper is not falling tonight, but they've been shots he's been making all month, plus he's had to take a couple of bailout's. And more importantly, he's still being aggressive, getting to the ft line, and getting into the lane and setting up his teammates. In the past, if he missed his first couple jumpers, he'd become tentative and it would throw him off the rest of his game.

Enjoying Walls play despite the numbers. His shots off but he's still taking them, which is great. He's playing smart and creating opportunities for everyone else.

Singleton gets swallowed alive by those picks. He doesn't seem to be able to get around them quickly at all .

It's unbelievable how terrible Singleton is though. Can't even get a fast break started properly by passing the ball to Wall or making quick decisions. And its terrible how flat his shot is considering how wide open he's been.

That should've been an offensive foul on Westbrook.

Imagine if we had Beal and Webster taking these corner threes instead of Singleton and Temple

We just don't have the firepower. Without Wall playing like LeBron I don't see us coming back all the way.

Wall is playing well. He looks exhausted and has no legs, which is probably why all his shots are coming up short.

Wall's form still looks good out there. It's not like he's hesitating, or that he's shooting on the way down like he used to.

Wall's jumper has been putrid

He's clearly fatigued, he's not getting his legs into the shot

Maybe Vesley can spark something here. C'mon Vesley, assert your will.

Honestly, at this point, he should start forcing his way to the rim and see if the refs call the foul.
