WIZ BOARD GRAMMAR ALERT

Since when does this board use the phrase sucky or sucks? The correct Wiz Board usage has always been "Eric Maynor is suck."

No I doubt you would get anything much by asking if people like the signing. Not sure many would sign off on that since it was 2M with Maynor getting an option on year two. He could play up to that making sense somewhere down the road but that would take a while of good play for that to happen.

I think a simple.

Does Maynor Suck

Yes
No
Undecided

would work. That seems to be the debate.

Not any longer - now the debate is about how sucky is he... an order of suckiness if you will.

Well if you want a low vote count poll, thats fine. We can always start a real poll in another thread.

Some data for people that like starts. I tossed Crawford in there just because he was here and now he is playing some PG for Boston.

Enjoy.

Out of curiosity what are the opinions or statistics about the most important position in the bench? As in what benches have been successful in the past and who has made the whole unit run.
As we stand out bench is weak but with martell on the wings who I hope by the end of the season is joined by porter and or gr3 to make the wings solid. But still as solid as they are in wonder if their value will be deflated by an Eric maynor as pg. Have benches been productive with weak pg play?
I'm hoping some of our current bigs are dissolved into a player with more utility to solidify the second unit.

Maynor was the calming force that helped us extend and keep the lead with 5 minutes left in the Thunder game. That crow must be tough.

Maynor was terrible. The offense would have screeched to a halt if not for Harrington making some bad shots. Also, Reggie Jackson abused him repeatedly.

I'm not a big Maynor basher, but using the OKC game as an example of him playing good is just plain wrong.

lol thats why we were up late in the 4th when Maynor was in. You wouldnt know about being a floor general and running a half court offense. Jackson was garbage in the 1st half. And didnt start torching anybody till the 4th. What game were you watching. Why dont you DVR the game and FWD till the 6th minute mark in the 4th quarter when Maynor stole the ball from KD and we were up 10

Kind of reminds me of when Golden State's coach let Earl Boykins close games instead of young Gilbert Arenas. It worked then.

Very limited minutes, but Maynor has been about as good as anyone could have expected thus far.

The only problem with this is that a) Maynor doesn't play at the end of close games, and b) Boykins was a lot better than Maynor.

I don't get the comparison at all.

And to think we have Maynor for an additional year......

President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

That'll be a true contract year. He may yet return to "Slightly Tolerable Yet Still Sucky" form.
