Oh wow, thought the game was tomorrow, glad I missed this disaster judging by the box score.
I knew that 3rd in the East thread would unleash all kinds of bad mojo...
Nene missing significant time yet again is just further prove that EG has to go.

That's like asking Jan Vesely to make a free throw.
Actually, I'm worried that it's like asking Vesely to be assertive. I don't care if Porter looks sloppy or lost; I just want to see him display some cojones. Right now, that's GRJR's greatest asset.
Always remember, my friend: the world will change again. And you may have to come back through everywhere you've been.

Clippers are the definition of pretenders. This team will get steam rolled by the Spurs again if they meet them in the postseason. CP3 is incredible, i just can't get past the flopping/whining.

Chris Paul has never even been to a conference finals, pretenders indeed. They won't make it past the 2nd round. All that flopping doesn't work in the playoffs.

Porter needs to play an all-round game and let it come to him. Rice has been there all season. He's much more athletic and explosive but for some reason can't shoot. I'll give Porter the benefit the doubt because he missed the entire summer, training camp and the beginning of the season.

Porter looks awful. I'm a Georgetown fan but I can't defend this kid. He hasn't shown anything all season. The game is still moving too fast for him. He will need a few months to get use to the pace and get in game shape.

There's very little chance they make it past the second round imo.

I'd bring somebody outside the organization but with Ted sitting courtside, I'm sure he's thinking it's getting close. This five-game road trip could seal his fate. Of course, Nene could decide to play with some discomfort and save his job.

I'm not saying that I want Porter to be a gunner for gunning's sake; that's not his game. Players can and should be assertive, even while playing an all-around game. Drive and dish. Make a smart defensive play. Grab a rebound you have no business getting.

Porter is not this bad. I'll never give up on a kid this early, remembering how bad Beal was early on. I just think Porter needs an offseason in the weight room. Put on 10-15 pounds.

He did just a grab an offensive rebound and miss a layup. He was assertive at least. Just keep playing him.
