Ahhh, just some petty serial whine tasting. The crime they need to investigate is how the Wizards stole the Bulls four out of five games. That what's turning Man-do's play-do into boy-do. Like he wouldn't crap his pants if Ariza sneezed.
PS: I know some pretty cool Bulls fans, but there's always that one guy.

I didn't put it in the prediction thread, but I posted in another Wizards in 5.
It's very important that I'm right about SOMETHING these days.
But seriously, game three winner IMO wins this series. I'm not as confident as I'm posting. It does LOOK like Washington is the much better team to me, but you never know.

Re: A bit of home cooking: Wizards vs Bulls Game 3 Thread
i felt Wiz in 6 but the way we ended the season, I felt like we could win eery game against every body. I know we played some bad teams but again, the ball movement in those last 4 games of the season was the best Ive ever seen from us thus we scored 96, 104, 114, 118. I just felt our O was starting to explode basically without any one player exploding. It was just great all around team ball like the Spurs. I also felt that we now have a good bench to go with our starting group and the Bulls would have trouble scoring on us. I felt our D would lock in for the playoffs. Weve played great D in spurts this year but I felt we could do that nearly full time in the playoffs.
My only true worry was Wall. With everything I just said, he was the only guy who didnt shoot well down the stretch. All our shooters found our stroke but Wall was off. I was worried that he might be fatigued like Gil seemed like he was going into his 1st playoff. It was a long stressful season where Wall carried a big load. He doesnt look fatigued though so I hope he just needs to find that rhythm. The good thing is that in the past he could totally suck when his J is off or he could look like a role player but now even when struggling with his J, he's still running the O very welll for the most part.
Im also not a hater. Ive ripped Witt alot. Ive always loved him as a defensive coach and would love to keep him as that but I know he wouldnt go for that. However, I felt his system was garbage and his lineups/rotations were just as bad. Now though, maybe this is what Witt was trying to do all along. Get them to play the ultimate team ball kinda like the Spurs. If we play like that then we can beat anyone because we basically have it all. On the flip side maybe alot of it is Don Newman...lol
Ive always been torn about the 2 low post bigs thing. I would give anything to see Wall with a stretch big. I think he would be unstoppable. However, I also feel like teams who are good outside and have 2 true big men to go with it are the hardest teams to beat and are the most complete. At the end of the day none of it matters. What matters is we have scoring at all 5 spots, passing at all 5 spots, a top 10 defense, and are deep. If we put it all together then teams are in trouble and we are now doing that

Re: A bit of home cooking: Wizards vs Bulls Game 3 Thread
watching the Rox-Blazers series and this is something I think about often. Matching up with the Bulls is great. The true traditional dominant defensive team that wants to play halfcourt ball. Nothing says playoffs more than that. If we win, its the perfect tuneup for the Pacers.
However, what I often think about is that I dont want us to get elimanted without playing in one wide open series. Even though the Bulls are a defensive halfcourt team, the series still has a lil tempo to it and is very exciting. Indy will be the same except they play with even a lil more tempo and are exciting but I want to see us in a true up & down series. Thats why I want us to advance to play the Heat. They arent non stop runners but they do have atheletes who want to get up & down. It wouldve been great matching up with BK or Tor also for those reasons.
Thats the one reason why I would want play the Hawks next but I still want Indy. I always believe in beating the best. I dont want the easy way out. I just want to see us run though. It would be especially great now because the media would be sweating our versitility and how we can play every style. Lets go Chi-Ind for physical toughness, and then Mia-OKC to run against......lol Trust me, I know we havent advanced yet. The Bulls will be a tough out

Ill be looking for Wall this next game to be the key. the bulls are going to key in on the bigs and as Nate said Beal isnt the best Home player. Wall will have that fire under him and he will probably be the thing that keeps us mentally in the game because knowing the bulls they are probably gonna come out even more physical and more desperate for a victory.
Good points all. Nice to see some multi-generational contributions. How are your pumpkin carving skills?
I'm okay. We can count on at least 5 or 6 from me every year. Relatively complicated.

Yup, just keep going to Nene. I wonder if they start doubling him. Maybe they do and this is the game where one of our wings & Gortat have a party.

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

I pray to the life of me that Randy tells Gortat to stop biting on Noah's pump fakes. What he's gonna do, consistently nail those 17 footers? Also, when Taj Gibson crosses you up from the ft line, you need to respect the fact that you're defensive awareness is shot. Game 3 strategy should be to hard trap when Augustine is in the game and to gang rebound. That may hurt their fast break but help their rebounding

I wouldnt change strategies on DJ just yet. I think he's just as likely to go 3-15 again then he is to get 25. Most of those shots he took were bad/hard shots. They were the kind that Beal was taking alot of and everyone was ripping him for. He would just go around the pick and pull up on the run while leaning forwad with our defender draped on his back. Thats a super low percentage shot and he was draining it from long range. I dont think he keeps that up

That one drives me nuts. If the ball ends up in Noah's hands for a jumper, LET HIM SHOOT.
As for Augustin, no reason to change what's worked towards the end of game 2.
Butler isn't a threat to score and either Wall or Beal can guard him when Ariza is matched up with DJ.

I still say Bulls in 6. Once we lose game 3 in heart breaking fashion things will become unraveled very quickly. This team doesn't handle success very well.

Lol @ this nonsense. People still buying into narratives. Utterly ridiculous.
"BULLS DA BES HEART TEAM IN DA LEAGUE DEY DON QUIT"
"WIZARDS GUNNA COLLAPSE CUZ DC SPORTZ CAN'T HAVE NICE THINGS WOE IS US"
If you're not going to support this team then don't even bother showing up. We don't need people with only one foot in the door.

I don't want them to lose, it's just a prediction. If the Wizards win game 3 the series is virtually impossible to lose, but if it goes the Bulls way then it's anyone's series.
I'm predicting a game 3 win for the Bulls in a game in which the Wizards were up big, setting the stage for their eventual collapse.
No need to get upset over it, I'm not a phychic, just making a prediction. If the Wiz do win the series feel free to rub this in my face.
