AJ Cole called up from AAA Syracuse and Ross sent down

Nats start a 3 game series with Dbacks tonight.

M. Taylor in CF as Nats must find the next man up for Adam Eaton. Hoping Taylor can continue to look good at bat.

GO NATS!

Might have wanted to wait to post this before the bullpen blew the game-again. Thanks Shawn Kelley!

Lol I'm worried about the bullpen too, but I am happy to see Gio pitching better. Last year I held my breath when he took the mound, but so far this year he looks like a different player.

Harper 4* games suspension
Strickland 6 game suspension

Check out the head to head collision between the Giant players that try to get between Harper & Strickland. It maybe the biggest hit in the whole thing.

*update: suspension reduced to 3 games

Ledecky invited Harper to hang out at the pool if suspended.

Olympic gold medalist & a seemingly funny girl. I'd hang with her in a heartbeat if I were younger and single lol.

Zimmerman 3 run homer, 15th HR of the season.

Scherzer 11K complete game. (Should of been a shut out if Werth & Taylor communicate and one of them catches a pop up in left center field)

NATS sweep the Giants !

NATS take Seth Romero LHP with the 25th pick in the MLB draft. Mid 90 fastball has hit 95-97 depends on the scout report. Slider in 80's & an OK change up. Projected to come out of the bullpen. Strike out artist, but character issues. Suspended for conditioning issues, failed drug test, bong photo in uniform & fighting a teammate. Kicked off college team a month ago.

Said to have top ten talent. And could be ready to come up to the majors quickly.

Oh well he's a National now. Welcome to DC !

As someone said, the harder you throw, the less character matters. It seems like they drafted for need - which is usually not a smart move in the MLB draft - since these guys are so rarely ready for the majors right away. And of course, the Nats bullpen blew another one last night.
