The entire time he was taking the ball down the court, I was like “Oh yeah, Rui is just playing coy and is going to pull up for 3” since the Clippers were giving it to him for some reason.

But no, he had to pull the WTF before the half and pass the ball with 1.5 seconds on the clock.

Holy shi-t. I know we're tired and playing some weird, small lineups against a lot of of length, but we are getting outrebounded 30-12. Ouch.

Maybe a 1% chance to win this game, but they have to play Bonga and maybe even Brown Jr a good portion of the 2nd half. They need length and energy. Beal and Westbrook are simply to small to intentionally match them up with two of the best wing scorers in the league.

The Knicks, Hawks and Magic lost today. The Wizards are currently 2 games out of 7th place in the East. They've caught the Magic and are only a half-game behind Atlanta. (Of course, a loss tonight drops us a half-game in the standings.)

Rui is our only on-ball defender capable of guarding Kawhi, so he's not available to guard Paul George. Beal has been guarding him, but he is just too small. Bonga seems like a good idea to me.

Wish we played like the clippers do. They spread the floor so well. 4 out 1 in, well spaced, when we have trapped them, they find the open shooter and swing it around and take WIDE open 3s. There’s not much we can do other than put better defenders on PG&Kawhi.
