Two more points...

1) Andre Miller looks awful. Like, Eric Maynor awful.

2) Nene's jumpshot effectiveness has done exactly what the law of averages said it would - it's gone from abnormally high to abysmally low. No one should be surprised he's basically a non-factor this series. Couple the lack of a jumpshot with his normal laughable free throw shooting and you have the player we just saw.

I had a feeling this would happen... we were getting too much love from the media, and as a lifelong Wizards fan you just got the sense that a massive jinx was incoming.

Wouldn't be surprised if this ends up being a backdoor sweep.

Bobcats fan here, cheering like hell for your team..

You guys laid a freaking egg tonight. Let the media sh*t go thinking that the Pacers are a done deal. Go out and beat them. You guys are more talented and a better overall team in my opinion. Just freaking do it. Tonight was frustrating and painful to watch.

Just got home from that atrocious game, Nene was pure Brazilian bubble butt azz and Wall was extremely passive. WHen he actually attacked the basket he was drawing fouls. Seemed like no one wanted to rebound tonight and if Beal throws up and other 20 ft 2. And adjustments from our oh so great coach would be nice a bit earlier in the game.

This may have been the worse loss of the season but I had a feeling we would be close to fizzling out. It happens when your playing with house money.

As for the crowd, they tried tonight but the Wiz gave nothing to cheer for tonight. And that idiot on the mic Rodney needs to go!!!

So I said if we lose this game we probably lose the series... Didn't realize it would be this much of a killer. Obviously the series is not close to over, but having THAT bad of a game at home in a tied series is just unacceptable. If we go on to get swept, Wittman has to be on the outs. He looked totally and completely clueless.

Glad I had that on DVR and FF'd the second half.. After the flops, clumbsy shots and sloppy play in the 1st I had to see the end before dedicating any more time to it.. Glad I did!! I just know DC teams to well to think anything but the worst and the worst is what we got tonight! They can learn by being competitive at least, but that mess is something they need to forget fast..

Hopefully Wall watches some tape and remembers that he "can" drive to the basket and score/draw fouls when he needs to.. Watching him dribble deep into the paint, leave his feet, then make a desperate pass is getting hard to watch.. Dish when ya need to dish, but damn, your already 3/4 there, take it to the hole!!!

I'll make it short since I got to get to bed. Before the game, I told my wife I was worried because the Wizards have not laid an egg in a long time. Sure, we have had bad stretches, but I can't recall the last game we really stunk up the joint (maybe the last regular season game against Bulls). Anyway, I told my wife that I was worried we were due, especially since every other playoff team other than the Heat have laid eggs in the playoffs.

The Clips, Pacers, Spurs and Blazers have all had 20 point losses in the playoffs. I say we have been lucky so far that we really have had a real big off night. We were due.

Now that we got that out of the way, let's get back on the winning track. I still think we will win game 4.

yea we sucked tonight but come on...if we win the next game its a 3 game series... We're in the playoffs folks. Lets be excited. The fans at the game deserve some of the blame you are an F'in DISGRACE to the NBA. Make some NOISE show some pride. Don BOO your team! You piss me off as a DC native....We have the worst crowd in the NBA.
We are in the PLAYOFFS for gods sake...be proud of your team for making it this far.

Give the Pacers some credit. They've made the right adjustments putting George on Beal..now its time for Whitman to make some adjustments and run Gearge off screens..bump him and tire him out. We can't possibly play any worse so time to bounce back..but we need the fans behing the team.

I agree on the booing. It was uncalled for and disappointing. However, I thought the crowd was pretty loud until it was obvious the Wizards were not going to win. I don't think it would have been any different in any other arena in the U.S.

no question we stunk and got worse as the game proceeded

but I thought that was one of the most flagrantly biased reffed games
i'd seen since Kings-Lakers or Wade/refs vs Mavs. It got into our heads.
We lost poise and composure and the shots we did get, sometimes half decent
ones, we choked on.

I didn't boo except at just awful calls/no calls.

I truly question, given where we currently are mentally, whether we can
win another game. It hurts when you drag yourself there literally on ONE leg
to see a garbage game like that. Credit the Pacers. They looked pretty much like
the team that dominated the league for 3.5 months. And we reverted to the team
that puttered along most of the season alternating good games with bad games.

Hill outplayed Wall again. The Wiz won't win any games when that happens.

And I thought we traded Ves. Nene was never a great FT shooter but OMfreakinG.
I was ready for Witt to play Seraphin. I'm not sure I don't feel that way. I do agree
with Witt going Gooden>>Booker in this series. Gooden has done a solid job.

we wilted under pressure. Maybe we can put together one more decent game

What a miserable heap off doo doo this game was. Stop saying you need to see wall take over. You just saw an attempt at that.

Beal looked his age. Nene met the law of averages. Wittman just showed the national audience his normal. Gortat was punked by cute little bunnies. Man, that was disgusting!

I'll start this with first acknowledging the Wiz were awful...no excuse for that.

But the refs...ugh yuk! Adam Silver was throwing hand signals to the officiating crew. Gotta get that indy mia match up. My first ever posting about refs sucking/conspiracy/bias. But jeez, they did everything possible to not allow washington to slow indy momentum.
