Yea, but didn't the Democrats do the exact same thing with wikileaks?

If you're referring to Snowden, yeah.

Some Democrats reacted the same way..

President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

OK so none of you can give me one single way in which we can capture or recapture wealth from the elites who have over 1/4 of American combined wealth tied up in tax shelters. Do I got that right?

Nobody has one single clue, right?

So what you’re really saying is you have no idea how to pay for any of this free stuff other than selling your neighbors 2014 Trans Am? I mean phuck that guy anyway! Right?

oh come on boy wonder, if i'm too dumb just educate the board then...give us 3 ways that in your opinion we can tax the elite's wealth hidden in various types of tax shelters...here's a hint...those shelters are 1. corporations that do not have to realize income and other carveouts like write offs for government grant funded for research and development. 2. overseas accounts with little to no tax. 3. trusts. 4. foundations and the various "non-profit" spin-offs thereof. teach us ol' wise sage. how are we going to get our greasy hands on the money?

Thing is - when they continue to refuse to cooperate, it becomes ABSURD when they complain about how long the investigation is taking. By not cooperating, they are the cause of the investigation taking so long!!!

I think that makes the "un-indicted co-conspirator" label valid politically. It isn't legally invoking the 5th amendment, but it basically is doing so at a political level.

The administration must be really certain that Congress(at least with a Republican majority) won't do anything to him.

Once Kavanaugh gets rammed through confirmation, many of the incentives not to act have been removed. However it would require a lot more initiative and concern about ideals, than the Republicans have demonstrated.

Ruzious wrote:Btw, it's fascinating how it used to be an honorable thing to be a "whistle-blower" - to be valued and protected, and now people who do the exact same thing are called leakers and demonized. Just an observation - not a value judgment.

There has always been a fine line between "snitching" and "whistleblowing". One of the things about whistle blowers is they are willing to accept the consequences of their moral stand. I think that is why their isn't strong support for the ofiical who wrote the op-ed. Also it is quite likely they had involvement in some of the at least regressive policies of the administration. Being pro-Trump agenda/anti-Trump presidency doesn't get much support these days.

I think things may get clearer once the identity and possible reason is revealed.

These are the issues I had:
  • Other than sabotage, what other steps has the writer taken? Discussing the 25th Amendment months ago is all the letter mentions.
  • Other than continuing the sabotage to some degree, what do they plan to do
  • Who are they trying to reach with the editorial?
  • What action do they advocate based on the situation
  • Why is writing the letter worth the side-effects

It could well be that the letter writer is fed up and didn't see any other option to stop things from getting worse. That is understandable, but not particularly heroic.

But according to Candace Owens and Larry Elder police hate Colin Kaepernick. I need a dentist to explain this to me.
