Less Booker, more Gooden this game and I think we come down the homestretch with a lead.

Booker just doesn't match up that well with the Bulls. They don't give up many offensive rebounds, he can't score on Noah or Gibson.

Gooden atleast spreads the floor.

Randy reverted back to the mean tonight.

I'm also trusting that Satan doesn't take bad deals, and it'd be a raw deal if he gave Dunleavy more than one game for his immortal soul...

The Wizards are better as an underdog and when on the road, anyways - Wall especially.

Whenever the Wall senses the media spotlight or tries to be a showman, he starts to try to play beyond his talents and forces the issue, trying to turn it to 11 when he should be happy being at an 8 or 9.

That 360 layup shot at the start of the game seems like this game in a nutshell. The Wizards, so desperate to prove they belong and can grow into the spotlight despite the shadow of the favored Bulls over their shoulder, that they forget that the how doesn't matter - only the final score.

Yeah. I think all the cheering threw them off from being as focused and hungry. They are a better us against the world team. They haven't had anything like that at VC before. But like anything else, its an adjustment.

I still say there was no reason for Booker to reach. Whether there was contact or not, the ref had the opportunity to make that call because Booker reached. They had Butler completely walled off, just keep your hands straight up and force him to travel or make a bad pass. If you reach, you take your chances with the refs, and we got burned.

That reach is what knocked the ball loose and then off Butlers hand. The referees should not be assuming the foul, which is what they often times do in those situations.

Now we have a little breathing room still up a game and staying at home for Game 4. Make some adjustments on defense so they cannot score, come out and win that game and it's pretty much over.
Game 4 could be tough if we don't have Nene but I still think we can win that game if we just. play. d. We can still outscore the Bulls without Nene, we just have to make stops. If Dunleavy has 25 instead of 35, this is a different game.

Actually, there was a very viable way. They came damn close to going down 3-0 tonight. If not for that late 3 by Butler with Beal going under the pick and Wall missing two FTs, this was the Wizards game.

Wow. So essentially, Jimmy **** Butler orchestrated the sabotage of the Wizards. Fantastic.

The weird thing is that Nene pretty much self-combusted. For no apparent reason...and I watch the games very closely. There was no bad blood between Butler and the Wiz/Nene.

Just weird. Ticking time bomb kinda weird.

Mike Dunleavy Jnr my **** arse. You are kidding me.

No chance that happens again.
Beal has been massive. Wall is fighting tooth and nail.
This is a great experience for these two.

He had been getting mugged down low by Noah all night and hadn't been shooting well. And with the Bulls yelling in everyone's ears every play, it makes sense that something like that would tip him off. He just shouldn't have taken it that far and everyone should have held him back as soon as things got heated.

Gotta hand it to the Bulls though. They couldn't beat us at full strength so they resort to mind-effing this team (first Hinrich, then Butler). Nene is an easy target. Dude looks like he's possessed on the court at times.

The playoffs are all about adjustments. Thibs got his turn tonight by playing Dunleavy and Snell over Augustin after realizing he will get shut down by Ariza. I think Randy got caught off guard as did Ariza. He was all over the place, defending MDJ, Augustin, Butler and I think Snell as well at different times. Thibs took our best defender and made him move around. Beal was obviously confused as well on d.

After thinking about it, Nene isn't the goat of this game. It's Wall. 130 left, game tied at 91, Wall misses two free throws, next possession still tied, Wall does nothing for the entire clock, the offense bogs down ending in a missed Gortat long jumper. Two chances to take the lead and put the Bulls in a tizzy, but no, Wall really wilted tonight and it cost the game.

Bill Simmons killing Whit's coaching.

Wondering why Andre Miller didnt play enough. Why Booker was playing. Why was Andre Miller not playing enough. Why we didnt go to Beal late in the game. Questionable coaching decisions late.

Yep, rarely do I agree with him....but Bill was right.

Yea. Despite no Nene. Poor coaching from Whit..

You'd like your All Star to close that game. He did create an open jumper for Gortat....but thats what the Bulls wanted.

Wall still hasnt had that signature game yet. Hopefully he has a 30/8 kind of game in game 4.

Yeah, just saw that too. Didn't realize Andre only played 11 minutes. Booker had to play though after Nene was ejected. As CCJ said, expect more Gooden next game if Nene is out. Or maybe even if he is in...

I still feel that people complaining about Wall's mistakes in the last few minutes are ignoring the fact that his overall strong game is a huge reason the Wiz had a chance to win in the first place. He was efficient on offense, created clean shots all game for his teammates, and played excellent defense.

The imperfections are frustrating, sure. And because some of them were on the team's last chances in the game, it's easy to blame him for the loss. But take Wall out of the equation and the Wizards lose that game by 15-20. Dude balled tonight.

(Now, that said... come on dude, hit those m****** f******* free throws. XD )

Gotta give Drew Booker's minutes. If no Nene though, I guess it's moot.
