I tip my hat to Nick Young and Johnny Manziel (and Jessie Smollett). These dudes are putting themselves out there under horrific conditions and incredible pressure in S4 of "Special Forces: Worlds Toughest Test." Highly entertaining.

Happy go lucky Nick Young had his endearing smile wiped off his face in the first 5 minutes. He's hanging in there so far though. kudos.

I didn't know that Nick Young's brother was killed by a Bloods gang member.

He might be playing worse than any of our guards, and that is saying something.

He was good in 2022-23. When he played.

Bradley Beal out 6-9 months with a hip fracture. What a strange last several years of his career.

Brad has really been washed for years, OMG what an insane contract and terms given to him by a weak Tommy Sheppard.

He put all the remaining productive time he had
into b2b 30 ppg seasons and if not for Steph, would
have been a scoring champion. Not that I blame him
as it's American, if not human nature, to get while you
can, as much as you can, but he got an insane amount
of money. I hope he has and continues to be wise
in how he puts that money to use.

I am guessing those minutes that Brooks played him earlier on added up.

Post-Wall, Beal has been one of the biggest, if not the biggest, empty calorie players. Prima donna, no leadership qualities, definition of getting overrated for putting up stats on a terrible team (those two 30 point season he was just ego), made of glass, no defense, etc., etc.

All I think of his clown but dancing on the sidelines when the team getting stomped. I expect some professional decorum when you're making that kind of coin, supposed leader of the team, and should be setting an example. I'm sure I'm going to get the whole "Beal was a no drama, shining example of what a player should be" reactions, but just how I see it.

I know by heart his first four seasons Bradley missed 81 games total. I was against signing him. Then, a funny thing happened. He stayed healthy and put up consistently high points. (Never efficient like Booker, however). The next thing you know, the Wizards reward stats inflated by heavy minutes with a ridiculous contract. Super max. No trade clause. Fifteen percent trade kicker. WTF?

There's no way an agent leveraged all that. The Wizards were just goofy stupid doing that for Bradley Beal.

Now, the Clippers have the pleasure. Phoenix fans booed Brad, and his wife in the stands, out of town mercilessly. He's Ballmer's boat anchor now.

Honestly very scary to realize that he would have continued to finesse us for years if we had decided to hold onto him.

I have to wonder at what point GM's will finally start to realize how big of a burden these "Kawhi-likes" are. Beal, AD, Zion, Porzingis and honestly even Morant....these guys can mess your situation up so bad.

Since he's only played in 50% of the games, Bradley's actual return on investment is 2.5 years at $251M/yr.

Beal is effectively receiving $100M a year while actually on the clock suited up for his team. :noway:
