god i hate the caps. i am such a pessimistic caps fan. i hate green ovechkin semin and backstrom. they are all overrated and you never know what you are going to get from them. especially alexander pedestrian as i like to call him. he is a shell of his former self and almost useless now.

that last power play was so pathetic i wanted to punch something.

i honestly can't say i'm surprised. caps aren't about that life

i think the sooner they get rid of ovechkin the better. we will never win a cup with him. i would say everyone is available other than alzner.

he's not the solution. he is a shell of his former self. semin stinks, green stinks, backstrom stinks. only players on this team worth keeping are alzner and carlson(both defensemen) time to start the rebuild.

Putting things into perspective, we're a 7-seed that took down the 2-seed Boston and were 6.6 seconds away from taking a 3-2 advantage over the 1-seed Rangers.

We're playing defense in a way that we've never played in the Ovie era before (you can thank Dale Hunter for that).

This is not the time to give up on the Caps, IMO. What we've been able to do in this post-season has been pretty remarkable. And also, I'm not giving up yet. We were down 3-2 to Boston too. In fact, this series has mirrored the last series, game by game.

Ah waaa waah wahh. Every game into overtime, playing deep into the postseason, a chamnce to win every game despite a fluke play here or there or a strict whistle. Why the hell would you give up on a team that is scrapping and scuffling and doing what they do. Tired of weakass fans. They lost, man up, there's another game coming up, support your team even if they fall 6 seconds short on one game. Ridiculous how sorry DC fans can be. So used to losing they try to quit before it's all over. Show some steel. Me I'm loving this series. Tense as all hell but I love the scrappy D, Dale's rotations, the kid in goal. The new flavor Caps. To me the drama is worth it.
