And it's not going to be in DC.

We wasted a 1st round pick for 25 games plus postseason of Bojan.

Ernie Grunfeld sucks again.

We heard that same argument about the Zards not being able to resign Gortat. Last time I looked he's still on the team.

At this rate, Ted is going to pay the tax and keep Bojan. Monumental/DC sports teams are doing quite well and on the up-and-up

I don't think Otto will get the full max either. We'll retain both of them and go slightly over the luxury tax line

Weren't close to the luxury tax line in 2014.

We ought to just enjoy the fact that Bojan is a Wizard and helping our team win games...and worry about his future as a Zard when the time comes. None of us knows for sure what will happen in the future.

Nah man.

I do.

We have Ernie Fu*king Grunfeld. We have a 14 YEAR track record of horrible management.

We have to resign BoGODanovic, if he continues this style of play. It's essentially Ottomatic off the bench.

Read on Twitter

President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

We have a lot of money tied up at center. If they decide to keep Bojan then trading Gortat is an option, although a risky one.

Given that Bojan is an RFA they have all the leverage. They will probably wait and see what the market is like before deciding.

Yet we currently have a top 3 team in the conference, and top 10 team in the league - with an elite trio of talented players under 26yo.

DCZards is right, you don't know what approach the front office is going to take moving forward.. we certainly have a chance for unprecedented success with group.

Bogey is gonna get Jared Dudley $ from someone. I thought he was in his early 30s, but he's only 26.

Question is who do you move, especially if Ted won't pay the luxury tax. Gotta think they'll try and move Mahinmi if they can, but more than likely Gortat's the guy they move.

Not saying this would happen BUT another scenario is they sign and trade Otto.

Bojan is a nice rental.

We do know though. We have 14 years of track record.

He deserves no credit for the top 3 players. Most of us on this board were projecting those 3 at the time of those drafts.

Dude's TS is 75% right now! Lmao... it will come down, but hopefully incrementally. In that time hopefully Porter, Wall and Morris get their collective heads back into it. He looks taller then 6'7 to me.

Gortat is an iron man. Mahinmi is made of glass. If we can only afford one, it has to be Gortat.

I think a more likely scenario is Jason Smith is moved. That should provide enough luxtax room.

As a sports writer from Croatia i am very excited to see Bojan in this franchise.
He should be a good addition to this team because they can maximize his qualities and minimize his downsides.
A big number of basketball fans watched game vs Orlando.
In Nets he was the first offensive options on the guard-forward position.
He is not a player who should be a first offensive option in NBA.
But as a catch and shoot player he can achieve impressive numbers.

All else being equal, I would rather keep Gortat but it might be easier to move him than Mahinmi, and would be more likely to get an asset in return. And the Wizards could attempt to use Smith as a backup center.

I agree that moving Smith is logical since he's not even in the rotation.

Shooters strangely become more productive with an outstanding PG and an overall
good passing team to play with.
