We gotta grab Garuba while we wait for Gil/Cooks to be off the team.

The Bucks take Ty Ty, I wish we had him in our back pocket for a bit.

Why not? I’d do it, provided all background shtuff checks out.
No need to cut Davis just yet, tho.
This kid shouldn’t be black-balled. Not still. He’s not even 21, is he? The brain of a human isn’t fully developed until 25.

I totally would take him too, Ted, not so-much.

What's Ted got to do with it?
I very much doubt this kid gets another NBA shot any time soon. I would speculate that he'll need to play overseas (if someone will sign him) & demonstrate that he's managed to get past what is obviously some kind ingrained habitual disorder.
Hope he does. But, no, I wouldn't sign him right now.

Not only was he not that good in SA but there is zero reason to drop Johnny. He's showed improvement every month we had him in here. Plus hrs not a deviant or a predator. Primo will go over seas. They care less about that stuff over there and they won't care about something that happened in Texas.

Dropping Johnny was harsh, I would take a flyer on him on a two-way, he’s only 20/21

Neemias Queta to the Celtics on a 2-way.

The Suns are stacked, but dang if I'm a betting man, I'd go with the Bucks with Dame and Giannis.
Bullets -> Wizards

Re: Discussing Other Teams' Moves - Part 8
I'm of the opinion the only team that came out of this OK is Phoenix. They're 8-9 deep now, just enough to probably seriously compete for a ring.
Milwaukee has no depth. Lillard and Middleton are snake bit with injuries. If either guy plays 65+ games, I would be shocked. Their starting 5 is probably Dame, Pat C, Middleton, Giannis and Lopez w/Portis leading the bench. It's not much. They need 1 more guy or 2.
If Miami actually trades for Jrue and only have to give up Lowry, Jovic, a pick or 2 and a young player, I think they are in a better spot to contend than Milwaukee is.

Bickerstaff: who's up for kickball?!!
Ed Wood: Only if it's the no-pants variety.

Milwaukee is thinking about the playoffs, not the regular season. I think they believe they can scheme their way through any regular season just by playing great interior D. Dame and Middleton can miss 30 games each, as long as they are healthy in the playoffs. Come playoff time, that combo of Dame and Giannis is going to be pretty fearsome.
Also, don't forget about Malik Beasley. He's not really a playoff guy because of his poor D, but he's a pretty useful regular season sniper. Dude is getting up 11+ 3PA's/36 minutes.

Not much? It’s terrific. A terrific starting 5.

Factor in the injury histories to Middleton and Dame. I think it's a last grasp of maintaining a championship roster before things fall apart.

I mean if they win one ring and fall apart. . . It's worth it.Rafael122 wrote:badinage wrote:Rafael122 wrote:Their starting 5 is probably Dame, Pat C, Middleton, Giannis and Lopez w/Portis leading the bench. It's not much.

Good for Dame (sorta) & good for the Bucks, they get an upward tweak to their roster, and are better positioned to retain Giannis compared to yesterday.

Jrue will definitely be moving, and if it's to Miami it'll be interesting to see if Utah gets involved (I read somewhere they're interested in Herro). Philly still needs to figure out the Harden situation, so at least a couple shoes left to drop.

I think this is a bad deal for Milwaukee.
Denver won with one megastar and many supporters. The year before Milwaukee had strong supporters around Giannis.
A key to the Bucks was Jrue Holiday. He's better for them as a role player than Damien Lillard is as a star

Tre Johnson is the future of the Wizards.
