Wall's end of quarter iso's were wasted possessions. Can't afford to do that in the playoffs. And the 360 layup was ridiculous.

Nene's poor play probably cost them more than his ejection. He was awful, failing to adjust to the additional pressure the Bulls put on him.

Two chances to take the lead and put the Bulls in a tizzy, but no, Wall really wilted tonight and it cost the game.

I wish there was a minus -1 button. Idiotic post. I notice you love throwing Wall under the bus whenever you get the opportunity.

Agreed about wasting possessions but that falls on Witt. I dont think Wall is breaking the play off to do his own thing at the end of quarters. Its just a lack of creativity in the play call. Wall ISOing to create a contested jumper at thd end of quarters is just poor coaching especially considering how much it happens and how little success he has at it. Call for something else, anything else.

I didnt have a problem with the 360 layup. It froze Noah, he just missed the bunny. He's missed alot of non-360 layups too.

Obviously, the most disappointing thing about the game was Nene. It just boggles my mind that a vet in the league can be so stupid, especially when the Bulls tried to bait Beal last game. Not having Nene available down the stretch hurt, even if he wasn't having the best game.

Overall, though, I felt the Wizards played hard and didn't give up until the end. They still had a chance to win the game despite not having Nene, despite an unbelievably hot night from Dunleavy, poor free throw shooting, and some, once again, questionable calls by the refs. I still think the Wizards will win the next home game, lose in Chicago and then win the series in 6 here.

Finally, I have to say the Verizon Center was rockin' tonight. I was pleasantly surprised that there were very little Bulls fans there. The only thing that pissed me off is that it took my wife 40 minutes to get in the stadium and missed the beginning of the game. The Wizards have sold out before....I don't know why they were having such a hard time getting people in. The only thing I can think of is that the new card thing is slowing up the lines too much. It would be must faster if people just used hard tickets.

Agreed. Losses are part of 7-game series; I'm sure there are plenty of Bulls fans who think they should be up 3-0, if only they had done X Y and Z. So no, I'm not that upset by the loss; if you had told me that we'd be up 2-1 heading into game 4, I'd have taken it every day of the week.

But the Nene thing enrages me. His Jamisonian whining about playing the right way (veiled shots at the youngs) is generally irritating. But then, to selfishly lose his cool -- lose his MIND -- like that? And to be completely unrepentant about it postgame? He just let his team down a ton, particularly on a night when Wall and Beal combined for 48 points on 32 shots.

I think he's going to be suspended for game 4, and if so, we are likely headed back to CHicago tied 2-2.

So Wizards. So, so, so Wizards.

Speculation. But word is Gortat left the bench area during the altercation, which the NBA has traditionally enforeced as an automatic suspension.

I disagree with the 2nd one. That was a good play by Wall and a wide open midrange J for Gortat. He shouldve made it. It was basically like a FT. Thats not a bad play to get at all

Im actually not as upset as others if our guys get suspended. Maybe Nene but definitely not Gortat. He has been a turn cycle all series. I want to see more of Gooden & Harrington. It will also force Wall to be more aggressive

This is horrible.

I knew the Wiz being up 2-0 in a 7 game series was too good to be true.

I expect the NBA to suspend Nene and Gortat for tomorrow's game

Randy will start the defensively challenged Gooden at the 5

Bulls will have 6 or 7 guys in double figures and win by 20

2-2 going back to Chicago, Bulls will fight for that home W and we'll lose Game 7 there.

The NBA would love this narrative, Gortat & Nene suspended, the Bulls pull even in the series and head back to Chicago.

the suspension could be a blessing. It will force Wall to be more aggressiive and it will make Nene mad when he comes back

people seriously think a suspension is happening? there's no way nene is getting suspended, the ejection was more than enough

Gortat I don't know, he left the bench?

Nobody wants this scenario (well, Bulls do, I'm sure) but don't rule out a big rotation of Seraphin/Gooden/Booker/Harrington with a little Ariza being enough to steal a win.

Now that I have all my senses back after being trashed at the game yesterday, my question is the Bulls called a TO once the Nene/Butler scuffle happened and players usually come off the bench. Could Gortat getta pass for that?
