And you know who the Bucks signed to Wolters' roster space - Kidd's very old pal Kenyon Martin.

Honestly, I THOUGHT Nate Wolters was about to get waived.

No matter what he had a better career than Glen Rice.

Hey, Jeff Withey is still on the Pelicans.

(hoping for the reverse psychology effect to bring an announcement that he's about to be waived too....)

Sorry CCJ, but you gotta admit, this is pretty damn funny.

Hilarious.

The sad part in the career of NBA hopefuls is that here today leads to gone tomorrow.

Gotta confess I'd rather see an upstart like Tim Frazier get a ten-day deal than to bring on Wolters.

Withey's too good to get waived. I remember him and Thomas Robinson on the great Kansas team.

No ... Way ... he gets waived. :)

The problem with that is - if he later gets demoted, we'll have to read everyone saying "Down goes Frazier!"

Exactly, CCJ - and which one was the Lottery pick?

Besides, I can always hope, can't I?

You're right. Maybe the Bucks will retire his jersey.

Rice's reputation -- deserved or not -- has some teams skeptical of touching him, especially playoff teams or teams on the cusp with good chemistry. They're unlikely to risk that for a minimum salary player. From what I'm told, he's a great teammate and isn't a locker room problem at all, but he has trouble accepting coaching and constructive criticism. He'll get a 10-day contract somewhere, with a team such as the Philadelphia 76ers who are trying to rebuild and take a look at guys at minimal cost. The New York Knicks were interested in Rice in the 2013 draft but that was before Phil Jackson took over. Given he just traded J.R. Smith and has spoken about riding his team of players with attitudes, they seem unlikely to take a chance. But he will get a chance. Rice needs time to grow and will be fine, but whatever sort of deal he gets it'll likely be a temporary, non-guaranteed deal at a minimum salary.

President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

There ya go CCJ. Work that mojo

But like I've said. These 2nd round pick become available later all the time after they have some NBA experience.

So much has to do with time and opportunities. When they draft Glen, was Webster even signed yet ? He was a pretty hot ticket at the time. One of the top 3 point shooters in the league. Look how TA got attention after a hot 3 pt shooting year here.

I agree with the recent post I read that said... go for the known skill with a more senior players is a solid approach for these 2nd round picks. Its not the only one. It depends on the team. But for a team like the Wizards where last year. A senior with known skills might have been better.

I liked Glen but he definitely had some Jordan Crawford in him. He's not as good of a shooter as he thinks he is. His most promising attributes I think are his ability to attack the basket and play some D. There are some really bad teams that should give him the opportunity to grow his game.
