Woj: Nets trade Bogdanovic to Wizards

As a Rocket, Williams is averaging 15ppg on 38% fg. As a Wizard, Bogdanovic is averaging 16ppg on 54% fg.

He is not my guy. He is a professional basketball player who has had a far better career than Bogdanovic has had, is having a better season than Bogdanovic, and fits a bigger need for the Wizards than Bogdanovic does.

Lou Williams has had a really good season. I'm still not sure if he fits a bigger need at this point now that the Wizards have acquired Brandon Jennings. The real positive is that Williams would have been under contract for another season. Anyways, the Wizards may not have had enough assets to acquire Williams.

I'm hoping that Bojan can keep up this shooting stretch for the rest of the season.

Yeah, we are still living in small sample size theater but I did like that Jennings had 7 assists in 17 minutes against the Magic.

He's clearly better then a lot of the people in this thread assumed. He's not doing anything outside of himself since becoming a Wizard, just getting better looks and opportunities because of the players around him. Essentially he looks like an easy 6th man of the year candidate.

Ian and Porter are good enough help team defenders to mask Bojan. I don't understand Brooks love affair with allowing Morris as much touches as he gets, especially given his effort level :/

Agree with all of this. That's our best 5 in the playoffs. Makes me sad that Kelly isn't that guy, but Bojan is unstoppable.

Agree with all of this. That's our best 5 in the playoffs. Makes me sad that Kelly isn't that guy, but Bojan is unstoppable.

I think we need 3 guys off the bench that we can depend on...Bogs and KO those guys for now. I think Ian and Jenning could become those pieces. Its interesting to think Jennings, Bogs, KO, Jason Smith and Ian all could be contributors... I bet that team pushes our starting 5 hard in practice.

The dude is a beast of a scorer.

The people who hate this trade now are going to come around like I have on the Markieff Morris trade.

This is a new season. I'm ridding myself of all the years of hating Ernie Grunfeld's work. I'm thinking Coach Brooks will get the best from both Bogdanovic and McCullough. I like the idea of taking players from awful teams and putting them in favorable surroundings.
