Well I'm going to it. I don't know what it's about so I'm just gonna take it all in and enjoy it. A buddy of mine is coming down to go so it should be pretty cool.

I heard it was a 10 AM start but now it's 12 PM. Should be interesting. Just trying to figure out what Metro stop to get off at. I was thinking Farragut North because it's less crowded.

Stewart's speech at the end was pretty moving. He's getting a lot of flack from the left, but that's just because the left likes to be as loud and obnoxious as the right.

I wish I went. I had plans to go but I ended up drinking too much with my buddies last night. Woke up around 2 PM today.

Words cannot describe how surreal the rally was. Tons of people. I just got back, and I'm extremely tired and my feet are swollen from so much standing. I shouldn't have worn pumas. Anyway, for those who have friended me on Facebook, pics will be up tomorrow.

I had to pick up a buddy of mine at Greenbelt station so I had to leave the station to find him. We waited almost 2 hours just to get IN the station, let alone take a train. It was insane.

I have to be honest, the whole rally was kinda pointless. The event itself was only a series of skits and that was about it. Stewart's speech at the end was really good. Like I said on Facebook, I felt like I was at Woodstock minus the weed and acid.

random thought:

Today, I'm reflecting on my time here on RealGM. It's been, and continues to be, a really nice ride. Thanks to all of you for the time snd thougt you put in to make this board among the best on RealGM.

For us old timers, we've been through a lot together. Marriages and births. Ike Austin, Lorenzo Williams, MJs reign as GM then player, Gilbert's buzzer beater vs the Bulls in the playoffs. Though it all, each of you have been a great source of interesting, well-articated thougts.

So to each of you - yes, even our board mutineers Donkey and JWiz - a heartfelt thanks. Collectively, let's make this season the best ever...for ourselves and this board.

Question: A while back I dimly remember someone posting about a good site for basketball shoe reviews. I'm trying to find a good pair of shoes, and if anyone knows a good place to see objective reviews on different brands, I'd appreciate the help.

Anyone else find it lame that they constantly use the Dallas star at Wizards games to get people to boo? I'm positive we can use something of our own to elicit the same response.

I would suggest La Queen, but knowing the mindset of too many fans who attend Wizards games, they might actually cheer which would be very disappointing.

I just saw the funniest thing outside my office window. A UPS guy and a FedEx guy fighting. It looked like a commercial.

UPS guy: I'm not gonna deliver the toner cartridge from Yemen. You deliver it.
FedEx guy: I'm not gonna deliver it. Hey! Let's get the Airborne Express guy to deliver it.

Just finished Season 3 of Dexter. Can't believe I was missing out on this show all these years.

I've never been this captivated by a TV show. The writers are freaking geniuses.
