The CFPB actually helps individuals from getting preyed on by large corporations, banks, and sleazy businesses like, for example, payday loans. I know I've personally been saved because of the CFPB's regulations. One of the better regulatory arms of the government IMO.
My slant is - good intention. Really stupid implementation. She implements the legislation - and makes sure the CFPB is above congressional overview, then she carps on the outcome. Which is it - accountable or not accountable? Okay if it is your handpicked stooge but not okay if it is someone else's handpicked stooge?
Stop feeding me talking points and actually look at the work it has done since its inception and what its done since trump got a hold of it. That's SD20 lazy. You're better than that.
Talking points? I didn't blast the CFPB - I said it was a good intention.
I blasted Warren for a stupid piece of legislation - she didn't think through the unintended consequences. She implemented legislation that put an agency into place with no accountability. And now she is bitching about. Its like when Carter/Reagan started the executive actions. It seems like a good idea until the next party takes control.
As for her being part Indian - I think she is lying and got her hand caught in the cookie jar. If proven wrong, I would certainly apologize.
