Terps made 23 of 24 FT's - 13 of 13 by Ayala. He overpowers PG's driving to the hoop. No dominant offensive player but everyone eats. 15-10. 5 game winning streak.

Tonight's the classic trap game - Terps are on a 5 game win streak coming off a dominant win against a team that was ahead of them in the Big 10. Now going against 7-14 Northwestern - coached by Chris Collins - an emotional coach who can occasionally motivate his teams to surprising wins. MD can't take this game lightly.

If MD loses in the 1st round of the Big 10 tournament... I think he's done. A collapse like that just can't happen. And it'd be a shame, because they were doing better than expected. Timing is everything.

But... if they do win just 1 game in the Big 10 tourney, I think they'll have a good chance to get into the NCAA tournament.
