Davis and Noel together. That's hard to digest. Do they keep em together? Any chance this causes Davis to become available?

No way, Davis is a true franchise talent. NO is run by a smart FO (see how they swindled us last year). They took BPA.

Yep, N.O. knows what they're doing. Frustrating having so few F.O.'s in DC that do.

Jrue Holliday, a 2014 1st round pick for Noel. So a top 15 PG and a lightly protected 2014 for a dude with a bad wheel.

So would you guys have traded Beal or Wall for Noel?

Nerlens just got ROTY if he's back in time.

I love it for the Pelicans.

Weird trade. Philly really playing roulette with that move. I expect they'll be in the lottery again next year. Why make that deal?!?! Risky as hell. Insanely stupid, like Charlotte giving us 2 first rounders for Sean Gilbert 15 years ago when they were arse and everyone knew they'd suck in '98 and '99.

Wow....Philly got hosed. JRue is a good point guard.

Good job by the Pelicans!

I guess Philly takes MCW or Burke at 11. Philly are IDIOTS for giving up a 2014 1st (even though I love Noel).

Caldwell Pope makes sense, Detroit wanted a guard who could hit jump shots. Minny is screwed, now the best shooters are both PG's. Bad day to be a wolves fan. They should trade out to someone who wants Burke. I nailed Burke being a faller.

Well, that Philly pick might end up being high - depending on Bynum's status and what they do for a PG - if it's unprotected. If it's not unprotected, shame on the Pelicans.

Well if Noel's value was Jrue and a 14th pick, the wiz could have taken him at 3 and traded him for someone better than Porter.

You really don't believe Porter could give as much as Trevor Ariza offensively off the bench or defensively? He's likely already better at getting others involved in the game than Trevor Ariza.

Ariza is one of the best defender's in the NBA. We all saw that last year. No way is Porter a better defender than Ariza. Otto Porter at 198 pounds isn't going to get PT over him. Martell showed he's a great shooter. I don't see how Porter gets any meaningfull PT at SF with those two playing their vast majority of minutes at SF.

You're reaching so hard. Ariza and Webster are mediocre starters at best, Webster is a FA, and Ariza is on a one year deal. Porter is going to be a foundation block.

EG is an idiot for not doing that trade with Philly if they wanted Noel so bad.

Very frustrating to see both Cleveland and New Orleans do a rebuild 10x better than ours in half the time as well. Damn :(

It was just said that Porter is going to be just as good defensively as Ariza is. That's simply not true. Ariza is an elite defender.

I'm not as big a JRue fan as most are - even though he did make the all-star team. I think he's just a solid starter. I like the trade much better from Philly's side - especially if they get Burke.

Philly made one of the dumbest trades in nba history tonight.
