Highest upside in the draft pick by SEA. I really like Ibaka's potential.

Most of the people here hated the Nick Young pick as well and I thought he had a really good rookie season. So I'm still going to trust Ernie over the armchair gm's here. I'd be more disappointed if there was an obvious pick to make at 18, but there wasn't. There was no one there that was an absolute can't miss, or a guy who dropped unfairly. Just a bunch of maybes and young guys with upside. I'm not mad at EG for this pick. Go with upside and hope for the best.

But how many years do you go back? Jarvis Hayes draft night I called it. Kwame draft I said Boozer would be way better. I've mentioned guys like Korver and Marquis Daniels when folks were laughing at me, and I said Millsap would be great even when Jonathan Givony and Joe Teutlein said he wouldn't.

Hendrix is very talented player who is so much better than Javale McGee, and Mario Chalmers so fills a need with great credenticals, that I think the Wizards drafting for what they need has been borderline incompetent.

Goodness, if they wanted to add yet another character risk they could have drafted Lester Hudson.

I'm old enough to remember his mom on those USC teams with Cheryl Miller. I think she's tougher than he is. At least he'll be grounded.

Arthur to the Spurs? That will be a steal for them.

*Ask yourself if you would trade Mcgee for Arthur and Luther Head right now.

Damn, I forgot all about Darrell Arthur. He's still there in waiting area. I feel bad for the kid...he looks real lonely & depressed back there.

I love your beauty pics, you're a classy guy and all, but I do know what I'm talking about when it comes to the draft and have years and years to prove my point.

This IS the worst pick of the draft, JWiz. McGee will not pan out.

The Wizards drafted tall. They drafted arms.

Jeez, grab Patrick O'Bryant with the pick and get a much better player. This draft totally blows.

I am all up in CCJ's head right now....we are "one" in our thinking on this!!

C'mon CCJ, you were obviously not in the crowd I was describing. You, Dat, Nate....I know you guys do your research. But c'mon, atleast let the guy bounce a ball first.

Hey guys, I'm going to the gym or to catch some sun while I still can here.

I've got nothing else positive to add tonight.

The thing to remember is that Nick Young turned out to be way better than I thought he would. Even though he only scores and barely played in the playoffs for the team with the worst perimeter defense, NY can score with the best of them.

Even though they already have a very good defender in Haywood, as well as a good shot blocker and rebounder signed long-term in Blatche; I'm sure if somebody shoots the ball and he's on the weakside MCGEE CAN BLOCK SHOTS.

Whoopty damn do.

That's all well and good, but Ernie Grunfeld didn't make those picks. Michael Jordan did.

I'm not saying Ernie hasn't and won't make a mistake. I'm saying I trust him over any realgm poster, including yourself. You might feel as though that's some sort of diss (and it isn't) but that is the truth. Maybe down the line, you'll be right, and Ernie is wrong, but what I do know is that Ernie was right last year, and most of you were wrong big time. That's how i pretty much feel about this pick and the reactions.

I'm pretty sure CCJ had just as much haterade for Nick last year.

Why? Isn't this board available for giving opinions? I saw the kid play a few times and wasn't overly impressed. We are a what-have-you-done-for-me-lately society and getting a project at 18, but hopefully most of us will be wrong.

Cheer up oletimer, we've still got months of free agency. Keep hope alive. On the other hand, doesn't this depression just make you wanna fire EJ?

Just saying.

Batum would have been a heckuva pick for the Wizards.

Arthur & Donte Greene still left on the board.
