Me too. I like these DC gunrunners. Change our name back to the Bullets and we're out of the gate like the starter pistol been fired.

Well, that's actually gun as in... gunning jumpers from long range.

Okay fine, we'll change them back to Bullets, but we have to wait a few years - how bout the 50th anniversary of the Bullets' NBA Champeenship. Top it off with a new champeenship.

Count me in for 'run and gun'. Then change the name to bullets and it's all good

Sunshine & Rain.

Wall moves at the speed of light which will allow Arenas to rain 3's from outside the arc.

If the Wizards trade for Vince Carter it could be Choke n Dagger.

Technically, a trade would make it either Choke for Dagger, Cloak without Dagger, or for the Wizards, Cloak n Choke; but I get where you're coming from, verbal8.

Reminds me of those questions you get on the GRE, the SAT, or some math test question dealing with logic tautologies.

Sorry, but I'm geeked out for life from stuff like that. :(

Wall and Oates

I don't really care if Gilbert or anyone else on the team has a characteristic that ties them to John Oates (like Bababooey). I just like saying it.

That would really rub in the second fiddle aspect. Maybe some SG named Otis will emerge.

sfam wrote:I agree that Arenas is the biggest determinor for how well the Wizards do, but right behind him is McGee. I think the Wizards really need McGee to start taking man-to-man defense seriously before we can be considered playoff bound. If not, we pretty much allow any team with an inside presence to pound the ball inside all night long. But if McGee can give up his Mexican jumping bean routine, I too agree that we can easily be looking at a 15-20 game swing.

How about "The Big Determinator" as a new nickname for Arenas?

That'd get old pretty fast.

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.
