NO has been playing much better since Kaman came back. Just imagine if they had Gordon. They would probably be a mid-late lottery team.

Troubling how Toronto and New Jersey have begun to struggle even more than we are. I was assuming we'd keep a healthy gap between us and them but it doesnt appear to be happening. Thank the tank for a road trip.

Brook Lopez should be back soon which should help NJ distance themselves. Hopefully Andre comes back for Toronto soon and the same can be said for Toronto.

SAC is making me nervous, they could be joining the tank soon.

NJ won over the weekend and is tied with Toronto with 9 wins. They look horrible. Honestly, I don't think they are a contender even if they get Dwight.

NJN/Toronto 9 wins

NO/Was 7 wins

Charlotte 4 wins.

We need to keep sucking. Good news is that we are half way through the season. I don't see any possibility of us overtaking Charlotte, but I could easily see us as the second worse team.

We should make this tank watch a little more interesting with a win loss weekly prediction contest for all members of the tank. We can begin post all star break. List of their games should be provided so we can begin the bets. Ofcourse most of my predictions will be " I predict a loss for everyone this week" which will be right minus one or two games collectively

NJ win over NY was huge. Back in the "top" 3, with a 2 game buffer to the Raptors. Big game coming up with the Kings - last game before the break, and the Kings look like the only other Western team (with the Hornets) who could challenge the top 3.

Just noticed a strange quirk in the schedule - after the break, the Wiz have a road game at the Bucks, then a 5-game homestand followed by a 6-game road trip. The road trip could really be brutal - @ Spurs, Mavs, Hawks, and Grizz, with the Hornets in the middle and finishing up with the Nets. 0-6 is certainly possible, if not likely. This could get so bad, I'd worry about the longterm mindset of the players. Yikes...

I wouldn't worry about the long-term mindset of the players because frankly I only care about Wall and McGee and they'll be okay because they're continually receiving positive reinforcement from the likes of Lebron, DWade, and Pam. I guess Booker is also a keeper, but as long as McGee keeps getting hit in the nuts Booker will have plenty to smile about!

Interesting, before the season I predicted 15-16 logic wins, then boosted the total to 18 with the traditional 2/3 "what?!?!" wins, well, we have 2 of those wins (vs OKC, @ Portland), and we're playing straight on a line to 15 wins. Interesting.

15 Wins would traditionally slot us at 2nd worst overall. I think if we continue at this pace we're a lock for a bottom 3 finish and a worst case scenario pick of #6, more likely, 2nd-5th.

Hornets & Raptors teased that they might steal wins on the road, glad to see the Nets come through in Dallas. Brook Lopez back = no chance Wiz catch the Nets. I expect a bottom/top 3 finish (record) is increasingly likely.

Hornets came close to beating the Bulls though. I'm pretty confident they overtake us by at least a couple of games pretty soon. They've been playing much better since Kaman came back.

+1 I feel badly for the Hornets, they have been very competative in most of their games of-late, but have lost done the strectch. With Kamen back for the Hornets and Lopez back for the Nets, I hope they start putting some distance between us and Charlotte. OTOH, I hope we don't start turning things around enough to divert our tank. :D

B2B against Orlando tonight, our tank will roll-on.

We have all our players back and we got completely blown away by Detroit. Game was over by halftime. :D

I don't mean to gloat but our tank is just so much more pitiful than yours.

Technically, we're still 2nd because they have more wins, but I'm getting a little concerned. I still think they'll finish with a better record than us. They beat Dallas recently.

2nd worst record = guaranteed top 5 pick = guaranteed one of the following: Davis, Robinson, Sullinger, Barnes, MKG.

Get it done boys.

Sully doesn't appear to be in anyone's top 5 (when it comes to actual GM's and scouts). I dont think he'll be the pick unless we get completely hosed in the lottery. The other 4 would be in play (although MKG may go back).
