Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

Thats it. I'm putting this in my sig.

Wall..He's just trying to do to much. I may get it printed and framed also.

Did every see Wall try to go under on Raymond F while Tyson just blocked him the entire way to the basket. Raymond had a lead blocker escort to the rim. Wall has to force that call. He can't just let Tyson block him like that while he is moving. You have to try to go through him and make the refs call it.

It was totally a moving pick. But since Wall didn't force the call, it just looked like Tyson had him on his hip.

Watch the Felton final drive. You'll see what I'm saying.

They will get into that mode soon enough. I don't think they are ready just yet though.

Beal out played everyone on the court including Melo

Okafor had a double double.

Price and Nene missed the game.

Webster had an ab strain but played.

Wall played pretty well and then choked with his decision making and handles down the stretch.

Wiz shot 19-29. If not, they would have won it anyway. Against NY. Without Nene and Price.

TOs and FT misses caused the loss. NY was giving us a chance by playing hero ball near the end, but we just couldn't capitalize.

That stupid inbounds play when NY inbounds from the left wing and our player (Ariza, I think) fronts Melo 15 feet out and there is no backside help. Easy lob for a layup.

We usually don't make mistakes like that on D. (We do make the stupid turnovers though. That's nothing new.)

We also did a terrible job defending Felton on the pick and roll. He split the double team over and over again.

They got tired. It was all predictable. This team is built to fall apart if they have any injuries. This is what I posted after the 3rd quarter ended - when the Wiz were up by 4:
My gut feeling - the Wiz are going to tire out, and NY takes it. The starters are going to be tired.

Its a rebuild. Its not done yet. Consider what they can add in this years draft.

You know what I noticed the other day that I don't hear many talking about. Look how old LAC are. Why isn't that talked about more.

TO's killed us tonight. The refs certainly didn't help. John Wall played pretty bad. Chris Singleton getting a start didn't do anything.

Beal, as well as Webster, Ariza, Okafor, kept them in the game. Team including Wall played hard though, that's all you can ask.

What makes me sick is that 90% of that place was Knicks! From now on Wizards fans if you only go to 1 or 2 games a YEAR you have to make one of them the Knicks game! And any Wizards fans who are season ticket holders and you sell your tickets to Knicks fan F-YOU! We have to fill that place with Wizards fans for the Knicks from now on. This was just sad. A total embarrassment. And unacceptable.

Can you imagine the Comcast Center filled with Duke fans??

Didn't see the game, maybe I'll watch a replay, maybe not lol. One question, I see Price had a DNP-CD. Anything said about that? I found it unusual considering I thought he was the main backup at guard behind Wall & Beal.

Was at the game. 3rd quarter was great and Beal was in fire.

Missed free throws and turnovers sealed the deal. I thought the defense was better

Defense was better from the Pistons game (who seem to really have our number). However, there were still little silly lapses that a well drilled team should never be making. There was not one or two players at fault either, this was a team wide phenomenon. Knicks defense was stellar for a few stretches, including the 4th qtr, really took us out of our game and led to some sloppy offensive play by us.

For a good shooter and a clutch performer from time to time Beal really loses his bottle at the line when the pressure is on. That is something players notice, work on, and improve with time and experience usually, unless your name is Shaquille O'Neal or Dawight Howerd.

I'm beginning to think Beal might actually have top 10 potential, not only is game looking very complete...he actually busts his ass out there, can't be too jaded. I don't want to use the refs as an excuse but I think John got hosed outta some calls tonight. I understand they were "letting them play" but it seemed once we got them into foul trouble early in the 4th the refs just swallowed their whistles. Two critical turnovers by John in the 4th...but he actually had a better game overall.

I'm not sure if agreed with the substitution patterns in the 4th. I know Booker can be a liability at times offensively (as can Okafor) but it having Webster/Ariza front and try to box out Amare just seemed like a bad strategy and forced our defense to over compensate at times.

Randy needs to get these guys to work on their FT's though. It would have easily been a one possession game late had we shot at least average. In that regards I think we missed Nene, as Mek isn't very stellar from the charity stripe.

Porter woulda helped here as a stretch 4.

Is it time to start Ariza? Martell has been great, but Trevor brings a lot more to the table defensively.
