Looks like a good matchup for Booker - since Gibson's a mediocre offensive player and not a real big guy.

Agreed - and Booker seems to be winning so far. He had those two nice tap outs to go along with the 2 rebounds + the defensive stops on Gibson.

And he didn't disappear :)

Pop is a better coach... then he is clearly in that elite tier.

Difference is Pop actually manages his guys' minutes. Thibs runs his starters into the ground every year.

No he hasnt. Beal was playing like crap but he's been very good these last 2 games and started off that way again. Ever since Nene became a starter he's played alot beter. Not taking hardly any bad shots and passing 1st

Maybe so, but Webster is very good at his role. There isn't a huge drop off between him and Beal. That isn't meant as a slight, most teams don't have a backup SG as good as Webster.

well I have no problem with Webster coming in. I love our 3 man rotation. My point was moreso about any star player. I hate it when coaches do that. However, even in this case I look at it the opposite of you guys. I think rhythm is more important so I would risk Beal and if he fouls out or get in deeper foul trouble then Im not worried because I then have Webster. Thats my whole point. Even moreso in this case because he's on a minutes count anyways so chances are he wont foul out in 30min. I feel much better about keeping his rythmn then I do worrying about fouls. Especially him because like you said, he was struggling bad but in his last 2 games he was 13-25 16ppg, 4.5bds, 4ast in just 29mpg and he started off great again tonight. Keep that going

Oh and Temple is starting to grow on me. Not the ideal back up pg, but i like how scrappy he's been over the last few games, and he's getting more and more comfortable with the ball in his hands

I see what you're saying, but Beal isn't a 'star player' in the sense that we need him out there for the team to operate effectively. Webster is 3-4 from three and playing well, it's a no brainer imo. And Beal is usually a second half guy anyways, he can get his rhythm then

this is one of those weird Wiz games of the past. We are playing well and scoring great but we only lead by 4 to a scrappy vetran team. Thats scary. However, for some reason I dont feel as worried as I normally do in these kinda situations. Maybe because our O is on point so far but still scary. Again, the Bulls just played triple OT on the road so hopefully they fade in the 2nd half but we have to make them fade. Please no 3rd quarter dropoff

I'm not worried about beal at all. He's 20 and will be a star in the next 5 years. Let him go thru these learning curves

Wall is a top 5 PG in the league. Full stop. He has made the step.

The Wizards are going to lose this game...the flow is being dictated by the Bulls boring brand of slow it down basketball.

This whole season has had the feel like all were good for is a playoff birth then done. There's no real belief that were able to contend for anything.
