Woo-Hoo. Took OT, but a win is a win.

For the first time in my Washington sports crazed existence, I actually gave up. Once Lucy pulled the football away again with two Pens goals in the final two minutes, I did the unthinkable. I turned the TV off and went to bed.

Good on the Caps for pulling it out, but I'm not sure I can invest much more energy at this point.

Really sad to see that hit on Crosby. He's had concussion issues so I really hope this wasn't as serious as it looked.

That said, the Caps are choking dogs. That last two minutes of the 3rd period was brutal. I was pretty shocked how well they came out in overtime. Hopefully they can build on this for next game.

Given that Crosby is probably going to be out for at least a game or two, if not a lot longer, the Caps at least have a chance. I don't know they win that game if Crosby plays the full duration.

Agreed. There is absolutely nothing enjoyable about watching the Caps in the playoffs. After sitting through a game seven loss in person a few years back, I really have even less confidence than the Caps do in these situations.

Its just not a fun watch however well the Caps are doing at any point in the game. I used to think unless they are up by 2 in the third, I really am not interested in watching because I'd be expecting a collapse. Yet here they were up by 2 with 2 minutes left, and they completely sh*t the bed. This is in their DNA at this point. As horrible as it is to say, hopefully the Crosby injury gives them a second life.

I actually thought the penguins choked after they tied the game.

Well, Crosby out for game 4.

Figured the league would suspend Matt Niskanen at least three games for that hit on the poster boy but apparently there won't be a hearing.

A Mazing!!!!

Totally blown away. The Penguins look like someone spiked their drink. They were lethargic the whole game!

Yet another game 7.....

Great win but we've seen this story before. Is this a kind of Red Sox comeback to beat Yankees down (3-0) though at 3-1 to break all the choking dogs label? Or is it same ole' Craps? Tonight, thought Kuzy and Burakovsky were incredible and they could be the difference in Game 7. Would be nice if Ovie could come through but if it's a tight contest, Justin Williams is Mr. Game 7.

Wednesday is very much like a couple of years ago when, I think, the Caps had a chance to close out the Rangers, the Wiz were playing game 5 in ATL and the Nats were playing.
