I think all EJ needed to do was take Daniels out and put Roger at PG and Caron at SG for offense. Sub in DeShawn at PG for defense. Ride Blatche all game and put the ball in Jamison's hands.

None of that matters today. The entire team is playing with no effort. It doesn't matter who we put in we'll still lose by 25+. I can't wait until the All Star Break. I just hope we aren't too far below .500 after the big road trip.

It's one thing to go through a slumo, it's another to get your butt handed to you time after time. This game is already over as it is, the only thing we can hope is that it gives them some kind of sense of urgency, because they look complacent.

The Lakers are a very good team, don't get me wrong, but this is embarrassing and degrading. We would be losing to any team in the league right now with this kind of effort. I just hope Chicago and a couple of other teams don't get hot or we might be in danger of missing the playoffs. Gil can't come back soon enough.

It's back to reality with our team. We can beat the suck teams and pull off a few surprise wins but now that we're playing the league's elite consistently we don't have enough. I guess now everyone sees why Arenas is so important to this team.

I think Washington will win if Gasol doesn't suit up, even if Caron can't go.

It's one of only two games in the entire NBA and the Lakers, despite Kobe going off for 46 the other night have only won 3 of their last 8.

Washington's big front line with Blatche and Haywood will be tall enough to control the paint and I expect Jamison will have a big game. I also think Darius Songaila is due to bounce back.

The Lakers will hit a ton of threes, especially if Daniels plays huge minutes. Fisher, Vujacic, Radmanovic, and Farmar will get theirs. Kobe hit 46 the other night and probably will approach or exceed that Sunday.

The reason I think Washington will survive the Laker threes is that Mason, Stevenson, and Young will get theirs, too.

Look for a gutsy Wizards win and the bigs playing big today.

PS IF Gasol plays the Wizards will probably lose big. I'm counting on Odom being down about the Gasol deal and the Wizards getting the win on the boards and with Jamison going nuts.

Im so f*cking sick of EJ. How on th face of the planet can you play Songalia for 9 minutes when he brings nothing, he can't shoot anymore, he cant rebound, he is a foul machine, turns the ball over, cant defend and only play Haywood for 6 and a half minutes. This has become ridiculous and EJ is starting to revert back to his old days of Brendan in his dog house. That man should be getting 30+ and he just gets benched by Eddie Jordan. No matter ever how good Haywood plays , even if he averaged 17 and 10 EJ would never give him the respect he does do Caron, Arenas, Jamison, hey the whole team. It suck because when Etan comes back its going to get even worse.

As for the rest of the team as I said before pathetic. Ill let Caron slide because its his first game back, but as for everyone else have some heart. Nick Young is out of control, shoots way to much, watch he's going to turn out like Jarvis, because EJ doesn't now to coach. Songalia is garbage, he is now my most hated Wizard, he is a way below average player now. Mason been alright. Blatche, ehh, stop going for every block that is within 20 feet of you, it pissed me off when he went for an extremely hard block on Odom, he misses the block, Odom misses the shot, Mbenga is all alone for the putback. Daniels has sucked alond with D-Steve. But most importantly as a team we played selfish, scared basketball. Going one on one, chucking bad shots, not running on offense. I would even get on them for the othber end of the court because first LA made a ton of tough shots, yeah they made the usual threes we leave wide open, but our defense was hurt most by our pathetic offense. GOD ARENAS CANT COME BACK SOONER!
