everyone says miami sucks now but once they get the number one pick and restructure their team they'll be right back in it. they got rid of shaq's contract so if they sold their soul it was only a rental. I'm on record that I'd tank for Beasley. Theres only specific players I'd tank for who go number one. I'd tank for Tim duncan, shaq, howard, Lebron, and a few other recent number ones and potential no. 1's
Next year is a tank worthy year.

Agreed on Miami being better than they look.

Wade
Beasley
Marion
Haslem/Mourning

Sixth man - Haslem/Mourning

Health permitting, that's a good squad.

The Caps game was awesome. Down 3-1 with 8 minutes left. 4 goals in 8 minutes. Ovechkin gets goal #60. Backstrom has his absolute breakout game.

I really don't understand why Miami didn't offer their expirings for Gasol.

JWill+Ricky Davis+Zo+Cook for Gasol+Cardinal should have been the deal. Then, imagine they get the #1 pick and take:

Rose:

PG: Rose/Quinn
SG: Wade/MLE
SF: Marion/Wright
PF: Haslem/Blount
C: Gasol/Zo (resigned)

Beasley:

PG: Banks/Quinn
SG: Wade/MLE
SF: Marion/Wright
PF: Beasley/Haslem
C: Gasol/Blount

That team is a playoff team from the start.

I'm having a hard time deciding what I want to call him. LeTravel is nice and has some history behind it, but "The Queen" is also top-notch.

You're joking, right? Drake/Western Kentucky-OT last second shot.. Belmont/Duke last second shot. Davidson/Gonzaga. UConn/San Diego-OT. last second shot. Siena upsets Vanderbilt. American plays Tennessee tough for 35 minutes. Nothing better than the NCAA Tournament.

I watched the Wiz game tonight half-assed switching to the NCAA's because they were playing a HS team tonight.

JWiz:

So far, so good on putting miller's game threads to shame, but with the mighty Pistons on the horizon and hands11 premature Detroit game thread potentially corrupting your mojo it may be time to come out with guns a

Thigh bruise from what I understand. Shouldn't keep him out next game, though.

From Wizards Insider

Rookie Nick Young was a late scratch with a bruised left thigh, an injury he suffered during last Thursday's win over Cleveland. It's been bothering him ever since and after he warmed up tonight, the decision was made to sit him out. Nick told me that he expects to be able to play Sunday night against Detroit.

IIRC, there was no curfew for the Miami game.
Bickerstaff: who's up for kickball?!!
Ed Wood: Only if it's the no-pants variety.

Good game last night. I'm glad the Wizards finally kicked a team while they were down.

I hope we keep the 5th seed because I want a rematch with the Cavs. There is nothing I would like more than the Wiz sending LeBron home.

No, there was no curfew immediately after the Orlando game (Wednesday night), but there was one for the Miami game (Thursday night). EJ said something about making sure you had fun on Wednesday because the curfew's in effect on Thursday.
