According to Buck, Eddie hasn't ruled Gilbert out for tomorrow.

And Caron's return, according to CSN, is "questionable". He bruised the same right knee he did in practice the other day.

I reviewed to tape to see what happened.

He seemed fine up until that drive he got the charge but I didn't see any knees collide. He did come down on that leg but after that he seemed fine. He got back on D and was involved in the next play under the hoop on offense. Again, I don't see anything happening but you see him start to bend the knee like he felt something in it, then it just seems to progressively get worst until he can hardly walk.

Then leaving the tunnel he seems to walk it off.

I'm guessing it was just a stinger. Hell, DS strained his ankle then then had a great game.

Yeesh, it's like Detroit is just toying with us. Just playing with us until they feel like trying.

I think we just committed about 4 fouls on one Detroit possession.

And it ended in a Maxille and-1.

We were called for 4 fouls on that one possession.

Philly lost and Cleveland is about to lose. If Washington wins this, they'll have a legit shot at the 4th seed. Wizards need to get it together. Detroit will probably play their backups in the 4th.

We seem to suck so often on the road in the third quarter.

Jason Maxille is 6/6, and 2/3 from the line.

Usually we suck in the 1st. It's the 3rd where we play well. Remember Seattle? Sacramento?

Where's the spark going to come from though? Butler has been a no show and Jamison is getting muscled around by the Pistons.

Our only hope is Arenas somehow turning it up.

Hard to believe that, before these Gil free throws, we have only scored 6 points in the quarter. Testament to just how dominant Detroit's defense is.

Rip Hamilton may not be shooting well, but he has been the best passing player on the floor tonight.

IF we can cut the lead down to 12 or less we got a chance.

Return to Washington Wizards
