I watched like two mins of game one and had to turn it off. Three should have been offensive fouls on le whine... But ref called two shooting fouls for him.

"le whine"....lol.
It's an interesting game to watch. Off to OT.

Cavs go down. It's like watching the Cowboys for me. Their opponent becomes my favorite team.

Man this just makes me hurt, I think we would have had a real shot at beating the cav's his john had not gone down...... sure GS would probably beat us in 4 or 5 but having john make it to the finals would be a thing of beauty ! Maybe next year. . . . . . . it just sucks because next year the pistons will be better, the heat will be scary good, the bulls might be healthy, and who knows what EG will do.......

This.
Woulda been pretty funny if they had been shut out in OT, although I guess the last/only
bucket was pretty meaningless. TThomp looking like a board stud and CLE seemed to get a lot
of their misses back, LePushOff getting 44 on decent efficiency and they still couldn't win.
Won't be any easier if Irving becomes less of a factor or a nonfactor. Speaking of Irving, pretty
good game not to fuel any Wall-Irving flame wars (I'm happy with Wall).

Kyrie Irving looked injured but before then I have to admire the effort he gave on the defensive end. He had 2 blocks, one that gave the Cavs the opportunity to win the game. If Irving can play like this defensively, and maybe he can with better defensive teammates, I am going to have to change my assessment of him.

The Warriors did what the Hawks didn't.
Let LeBron get his points but limit the others.
The Cavs will not win playing ISO ball. But that's how they are built without Love especially.

Yeah, if Irving is out... who is the second threat? I guess it is going to have to be JR? Not having Love hurt too... 47 for Tristan is just too many. I think this series is over unless something magically changes.

PS - either I don't know the rules or I'm blind or MJ/JVG have Cav goggles. I thought that
was definitely a travel on Mozgov down the stretch. He came to a jumpstop then slid
both feet.

I like him.
He apologized for the effect of the decision. He went to four finals, and won two. He went back home and is once again in the finals.
Lebron James is a loving father (his sons are ballers already). He seems to be alright off the court.
Lebron worked on his game to where he will post up now. He does it all on the court.
I liked the way Lebron showed a lot of respect to DeMarre Carroll when it looked like Carroll blew his knee out and again, after the Hawks were swept. He encouraged Carroll and praised his efforts.
I'm over whatever reasons I couldn't stand Lebron. I like his game. I look forward to him getting into acting after the NBA, as that is what he seems to want.
I am rooting against Lebron's team, but will be happy either way.

It was a "travel" in the same way that most down low spin moves are travels. Look up any Carmelo Anthony highlight mix on youtube and watch his feet in the post. They don't call it unless its egregious.

Part me still dislike him but I respect him as a great player. While it's fun to root against LeBron at times, I found that I becoming less objective when assessing who would win the series.
Still, a portion of me is wondering how stupid the media is in giving Cleveland this much of a chance and even the average basketball fan. I talked to one of my friends and he has been saying that LeBron would carry Cleveland to a championship (of course he couldn't name more than 2 players on Golden State). Now after LeBron lost game one, my friend starts comparing LeBron to Wilt Chamberlin in that LeBron hadn't done enough to win. Go figure.

Re: NBA Games Discussion Thread - Part 3
I am still mystified as to why Irving played at all in the final Atlanta game. He clearly wasn't moving well but played 22 minutes.
The Cavs had to win that game to have a chance. The Warriors came out tight/cold and the Cavs had to take advantage of that. Lebron is a frontrunner and if the Cavs start struggling he will go through the motions as he has done before.
Plus you know Kerr will be making adjustments. He had Bogut guarding Allen when they played Memphis so he is certainly open to changing his game plan.

Re: NBA Games Discussion Thread - Part 3
My main takeaways from this game:
(1) A fully healthy Cavs team -- with perhaps a slight tweak or two -- is a legit title contender.
(2) John Wall needs to continue to improve -- especially shooting and turnovers.

Re: NBA Games Discussion Thread - Part 3
I've always respected Lebron's game, never a question about that. But he was so easy to root against, especially during the rivalry vs. the Wizards. I actually didn't mind the fact that he won back to back rings, I was happy for him. I think it's more the Cavs and their fans rather than Lebron at this point.

Re: NBA Games Discussion Thread - Part 3
Kyrie has feet issues as well. He's an offensive talent when healthy but there is mild Irony in LBJ leaving a hobbled Wade thinking playing with Kyrie could be a pillar of health.
Also sounds like a displaced fracture, which means he just gave way to stress in the knee cap itself or his quads ruptured it. Either way, unfortunate.

Didn't Wall have a similar injury two and a half years ago?
Stress fracture on his knee? He missed 3 months

Dellavedova is a gamer. I think Cleveland will rally and be tough because Dellavadova is very confident and extremely physical.
