That's where I am. using draft picks to trade up has been a recipe for disaster. If there's a quality QB when we pick, that's fine, but don't trade up. We need to improve the entire roster - not just QB.

Here's what I'm thinking: If the Skins stay where they are, they're going to screw up by picking D.K. Metcalf - who's far more athlete than football player, imo. So... why not trade down with the Cardinals - for Rosen and their high 2nd rounder, and use that pick on the WR I really want - Marquise Brown. I don't watch much college football, but I saw enough of Brown to see he's a legit game-breaker that defenses need to adjust to - dude is electrifying. That way, the Cards get to save some face by saying they got a 1st rounder for Rosen. Frankly, it doesn't sound like teams are knocking down their doors with offers for Rosen. And if you trade for him, you've got to give him weapons. Right now, the Skins are severly lacking weapons - particularly weapons with speed.

Marquise Brown has been downgraded by a number of teams.

His size/injury history is a concern.

I think those are the only reasons he could be available after the 1st round. I think he's a stud - I could be wrong - I've watch very little college football. But some players just stick out - he's one.

Yeah. Definite game changer.

I absolutely hate what Bruce Allen has done with the Skins, but... a lot of media people owe him apologies for how they jumped all over him for the Rueben Foster situation. He's not even getting a suspension.

I’m hoping either Haskins or Hockensen falls to 15. If they’re not available then I see us trading down.

To get Dwayne Haskins.

Ugh. There's absolutely no reason to reach for a QB. None of these guys are franchise changers, except for possibly Murray.

Take Haskins or Lock if they're there or trade for Rosen. If none of those options are available, the draft BPA or trade down for more picks.

Whatever...it's the Redskins. I'm used to these types of horrible moves, so if they do move up I wouldn't be surprised.

I'm also completely against trading up. And until a couple months or so ago, all the "experts" were panning the QB's in this draft. This seems to happen every year - QB's who weren't highly regarded are all of a sudden regarded as possible 1st rounders. Thing is - if they trade up, you know it's a Snyder/Allen move, and they've proven year after year that they're not football people; they're empty suits playing fantasy football and somehow never learn from their mistakes.

And others are saying they're targeting Daniel Jones and might trade up as high as 5th to get him. Personally, I'd much prefer Haskins over Jones, but trading up shouldn't even be a consideration. Trading up to get Jones would be a worst case scenario.

I'd reluctantly trade up for Haskins.

For Daniel Jones? Absolutely not.

Best case scenario imo: pick Haskins at 15 and Marquis Brown in the 2nd round. Both will likely be gone before the Skins picks, but ya never know... until ya know. And we'd still have a desperate need for a speed pass-rushing OLBer... and a speed CB... and a speed safety.

You might say I think the Skins need to add a ton of speed.

None of these QBs except for Murray are worth trading up for. Haskins--definitely not. Dude gives me a Byron Leftwich vibe. Lock is a better prospect IMO but not worth trading up for.

I'd be more inclined to TRADE DOWN and nab more picks, but since when have the Redskins ever done anything like that lol.
