Dallas made two really good trade deadline moves. Added PJ Washington and a guy named Daniel Gafford are balling in the WCF.
Tre Johnson is the future of the Wizards.

Monty Williams now getting paid serious bucks not to coach, good for him. I'm not sure what Detroit was expecting to happen last year but what would anyone else have done with that team? :dontknow:

I think that's probably more about the complete FO change, w/ Trajan Langdon having been brought in as the new President.

Totally agree that it's pointless for LeBron to stay in LA. I think we'll learn a lot based on who they hire as the head coach. If it's somebody like JJ Redick, then LeBron is definitely staying on as the real HC/GM lol.

With the 41st pick, the Sixers select Bronny James...

Or they trade down and select him. If they still had the 49th pick it would be a no-brainer.

Pascal Siakam now making 50 mil/yr. He's better than Kuz but not better than Kuz at 20 mil/yr vs Siakam's 50 mil.
Can't say I do. Who else gonna shoot?

Yeah and Monty Williams is making 65M to sit at home and play PS5. Let me get that job.

Must be cool to have an owner who is willing to eat the full cost of their own error.

IDK. Giddey's numbers in year 2 were really good. I think his ceiling with higher usage is more valuable than Caruso. I've got vibes of Brunson being moved from Dallas here. Not on the level of losing a superstar, but losing out on a trade due to fit concerns.

Giddy can't shoot. I'm sorry but these 6-7 to 610 unicorn point guards long defensive studs like they don't really win. They can't shoot. Giddy, Simmons, the list goes on and where are they? Sure it's flashy and cool but like give me a true point guard anyday

I’m disappointed we didn’t snag Giddey.

The best news for OKC is that trading for Caruso gives them the vet presence/leader that they lacked.

Dude if they signed LeBron's handpicked HC...only for LeBron to end up in Philly with Bronnie...so epic  (although apparently Embiid wants Paul George)

All I know is, if it happens, it better be on TV. "I'ma go ahead and take my talents to get a cheesesteak." :rofl2:

Man, I wish I had this tweet at the ready when arguing about Giddey on the Trade Board. Giddey supporters try and tell me that Giddey is not that bad of a shooter based on his 33% 3-point percentage, but I just knew from watching him that his shot was a horrific liability.

Also, it's truly remarkable how many wide open looks he gets. That's a testament to how much defenses have to worry about SGA, Chet and JDub, as well as being a massive sign of disrespect for Giddey.

In this year alone, Giddey got 217 wide open looks from 3, hitting 35%. For comparison, a guy in a similar offensive role, Deni Avdija, only got 144 wide open looks (while playing 10% more total minutes) and he hit 44% of them.
