Gonna be upset if center is the weak link on the line, but like everything else I've seen, didn't mind losing out on some of the huge free agency signings. Still badly need a red zone threat besides JD5.

They still have a lot of cap space because of the way they structured their fa contracts but they've also been rolling a lot of cap forward the last few years.W. I wouldn't mind either of them if we move back and they fall but not at 7.Tyrone Messby wrote:Just stay away from Bain and Tate.
It's love, styles or downs for me.
But if we get a massive offer to move up for love I take that deal of it's overwhelming like something stupid good like what the jags did last year.
Id also be open to trade downs if love is gone.

President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

IMO this adds more credence to the trade back rumors and they are seeing how many of these guys they really like so they can determine just how far back. Liking all of them could mean they are comfortable going into the late teens or even early 20's in order to acquire more picks.

Re: The Washington Commanders Thread Pt. 2
I think it all comes down to a couple things
Is love gone?
Loves gone. We go best defense player available, unless a heavy offer comes in and we can move back and get downs of EMW or who ever.
Loves there. We take him. Unless a team like the jags sells the farm for him.
What I don't see us doing is staying at 7 and taking a WR. If love is gone and all the good defensive guys go early. We have to trade back.

Schefter in his latest article says that "'#7 appears to be the floor'' . I think I will be fine with Washington taking Love there given the great reviews he has had- Todd McShay has him listed as the best player on his board. Plus I sill feel like the running back position room could still be stronger. Keim suggests that wide receiver may make still be taken- everyone is saying it is a deep position that could be had later in the draft although Washington's lack of picks may limit them from addressing it. Keim seemed to be more concerned with Terry getting older and another negotiation happening soon when his 3rd year kicks in.

Re: The Washington Commanders Thread Pt. 2
These next 3 days are going to be awful. Love is the guy I'd pick but he's either going 3rd or 4th. Tyson was my number 1 WR, but the injury stuff scares me. It sounds like he's good to go but he's probably the Giants pick at 5. Trade down and see if you can get Lemon b/c I think Lemon is gone to the Rams at 13. Of course all of this could be a smokescreen. The guy I don't want is Styles. Any time you talk about a player playing three different positions on defense, I'm out.
Bickerstaff: who's up for kickball?!!
Ed Wood: Only if it's the no-pants variety.

Re: The Washington Commanders Thread Pt. 2
I love lemon but I don't think he ends up here.
I think love is a solid pick. But, I will say I am hearing a ton about how we love Adam randall that might be tellgraphing that is love is there at 7 we might trade back. We need and I mean need more picks.
I don't wanna take tate or styles. Over hyped and over ratted.
I would be fine with downs,Delaine, or bain.
I think if love is there we trade back vs taking him but I'd be fine with taking him.
Aj halcy, vi pain, Jalen huskey are all later round safety options two free and one strong.
I really don't know if we can get a lock down CB later in this draft. Chris Johnson,Davison Igbinosun,Keith Abney II,Tacario Davis are all solid mid round options with potential.
One 7th round option at CB for me would be collin wright from Stanford. Average athlete at best but really high productivity.
I don't see us going traditional edge cuz we put a lot into that in free agency but you can always use edge rushers. I see up going with hybrid edges like a Jaishawn Barham or jack kelly.
I wouldn't go WR early Bryce lance had two 1000 yard seasons and is 6'3 and fast and is projected at a 3-4 round pick. Eric McAlister is a 6'4 guy and had a 1000 yard season with 10 yds last year and is projected as a 6th rounder we can get WR late.
I think we really need to hit some line man too if we can get em extra picks Ol and DL
Adam randall is a stud too from Clemson. He was a WR convert and looks like love light. He's gonna be a 6th rounder .

Haulcy is a DAWG. Would love to get him if we don’t take Downs. Just not sure he’s going to slip into the third. Him and Mansoor were incredible for us this past season and put some respect back on the LSU defense’s name.

This is why you don't trade picks with carelessness. We could legit have Mansoor and haulcy. But we trades too many picksTyrone Messby wrote:Haulcy is a DAWG. I agree with this take. I'm not at all thrilled with the notion of an injury prone WR but picking at #7 I have to target a star player so I'd have Tyson ranked higher on my board.
