I like him.

He apologized for the effect of the decision. He went to four finals, and won two. He went back home and is once again in the finals.

Lebron James is a loving father (his sons are ballers already). He seems to be alright off the court.

Lebron worked on his game to where he will post up now. He does it all on the court.

I liked the way Lebron showed a lot of respect to DeMarre Carroll when it looked like Carroll blew his knee out and again, after the Hawks were swept. He encouraged Carroll and praised his efforts.

I'm over whatever reasons I couldn't stand Lebron. I like his game. I look forward to him getting into acting after the NBA, as that is what he seems to want.

I am rooting against Lebron's team, but will be happy either way.

I very much admire your willingness to forgive and forget... I can't bring myself to do it, though.

I just hate how the dude gets and has always gotten all the calls. It enables bully ball and cheapens the game.

Btw, many would say that his acting career is already in full stride, judging by the myriad fake cut lips and other assorted embellishments.

NBA brought in the big guns, Scott Foster is 11-1 for road teams in the playoffs. He's also the one who called the quick two fouls and threw a bonus technical on Draymond in that very rare home loss to Memphis. (GSW only lost 2 home games previously, one to the Spurs where they owned the Dubs and to the Bulls in OT w/o Bogut).

Get ready for fukkery.

I don't mind it, the NBA needs this series to be 1-1 or else ratings will be DOA going into game 3.

Damn! Good call on Scott Foster. His road team record is amazing. Checking out last season's playoffs I can't help but notice Tim Donaghy even pointed out how Foster always seemed to favor road teams.

So how about that Draymond Green contract? Give him the max or close to it? He would be a very good role player on any other team. D him up with LeBron or Tristan Thompson and he becomes ordinary. His defense, guile and IQ though is elite.

If Cleveland wins this series, as much as it pains me to say, I have to put LeBron on equal footing with MJ. I've seen both but MJ couldn't carry a supporting cast this weak sans Kyrie and Love. Incredible that they held on tonight.

Yup. Now road teams are 12-1 in these playoffs with Scott Foster. I will say, both teams got hosed out of calls tonight.

He'll be getting paid what David Lee is getting paid. But I think Kawhi Leonard was very deserving of Defensive Player of the Year over Green.

MJ never lost in the Finals. So, I'm not doing that. Plus, remember how LeBron looked in the 2011 Finals? That series is the reason why I can't put LeBron over MJ. But LeBron is doing an incredible job in this run.

It's funny though, Kenny Smith and Grant Hill just had a conversation on NBATV.

Kenny Smith: "I've never seen a superstar, MVP player (LeBron) do more with less"

Grant Hill: "What about Hakeem?"

I found myself rooting for Cleveland last night. I couldn't believe it but it's true.

I know I'll be flamed for this but I really do not enjoy watching GSW play. They come down and shoot the first contested 3 they get. Curry was 2-15 from 3. Best handles in the league and refused to take it to the rim.

I'm not mad at LBJ anymore. Watching him play is a pleasure. And without any other superstars around him, he has to put the team on his back.

Or actually the LeTrav fans themselves, of a similar ilk to Kobe jocksniffers.

I saw a badly reffed game both ways, too. Missed fouls on jump balls? There does come a time where the data adds up and I start to question if I can trust my eyes, though. Keep in mind that Foster was the guy who had the most contact with Donaghy, and he has a history of favoring road teams already. Just last season:

GS wins if Mo Buckets simply makes a breakaway dunk. How'd he miss that?
I wonder if the CLE board has a thread to the effect are we better without Kyrie?
Kerr actually needs to game plan for Matt freakin Delavadova. Who saw that coming?

Eh, I understand. It is irritating watching them play their soft ass brand of basketball. Same story with Houston and Portland and Dallas and many of the other elite offensive teams in the West. And Curry plays with so little urgency sometimes that it's irritating. Even that game-tying lay up he rolled in was executed as slooooow as molasses. That's not a situation to try and run off clock and the last time he pussy footed around with an easy lay up, Kyrie Irving, of all people, stuffed his ass. Reminds me of the times Wall has tracked him down and embarrassed him with a chase down block.

I've got to say, there has been some Emperor's New Clothes effect with Curry, the Warriors, and the Western Conference as a whole in the first two games of this series. The WC just looks soft now, their best and baddest team is getting bullied around by Tristan Thompson and Timofey Mozgov. Bogut looks like an utter bum and Draymond Green looks very limited. It's a foolish team that gives him a max contract BTW. And Curry has made so little impact beyond his shooting and scoring that it's been a very, very stark contrast between him and LeBron. Because of this, I don't think it's a stretch to think that Wall will be a better and more impactful player than Curry in a couple seasons. John is so much more active and physical than him.

This is why I believe if the Spurs had just won one more game (that Knicks game late in the year), they would have been the #2 seed after their great finish to the year and beaten DAL, HOU, and probably GSW since they are their kryptonite and we've seen GSW struggle to win at SA w/ Spurs were one of four teams to win at Oracle this year and won convincingly early on.

Then again, Parker and Ginobili were looking old as hell. Duncan, Leonard, Green, Diaw, and the others would have fared well vs. the Warriors.

With the Cavs playing that dirty, nasty style against the Warriors and being so effective, you gotta wonder how good our chances could have been if Wall didn't get hurt and we made a potential Finals run. Not saying we'd have beaten the Warriors or even the Cavs in the ECF but it does make you wonder...

It does make me wonder how we could do playing seven games with a loose whistle against a soft West team. The only thing is we don't have energetic glass eating bigs like the Cavs do. That spot is killing the Warriors.

I would LOVE to see Wall match up with Curry for a series. Beal on Klay is a tough match up because of the size difference, but I think Wall would give Curry a lot of problems with his strength and physicality.

We're not there yet though. Wall and Beal are still growing and figuring things out. LeBron is a fully matured leader and superstar that has tons of experience. We wouldn't have Cleveland's poise.

the size difference didn't bother Beal much when guarding Korver who is pretty long for a 2.

He's limited though. Klay can dribble and score with his back to the basket.

Good to read something about the officials, FAH1223.

Fukkery that lengthens the playoffs profits the monolithic NBA. They are getting the maximum exposure. Two overtime games so far. This series is likely going six games at least.

Seven if refs can facilitate it, perhaps.
