An interesting bigman choice in Queen, Malauch, and Sorber. Queen is all offense, Maulauch is all defense, and Sorber is in between, but coming off an injury. With those measurements, I'd take Sorber out of the three, but I'm not sure if he's fully recovered.

Time for Dawkins to earn that paycheck.

If I were Dawkins, I'd secretly be looking to bolt. The Wizards are going to take three years to reach mediocrity.

For me personally it's either Fears or Queen.

Fears reminds me of a weird combination of Wall and Irving. Wall's speed but not his passing. Irvings handle but not his jumpshot. Not sure what that ultimately gets you, but I like it.

Queen has a lot of flaws but I just see it with the eye test much like Sengun and I'm just like "yea, he's him".

Tre Johnson is the good shooting 3 and D wing that comes along every draft really and you don't really know what to peg him as. Maybe you get lucky and he's Trey Murphy. Or maybe he's kind of mid in a Deandre Hunter kind of way, or worse. In either case I can't take such a prospect over Fears. I do realize my interest in Queen is probably a minority opinion.

On Queen, no doubt his agility and athletic performance at the combine was putrid. Having said that, how would a Jokic, Sengun or Sabonis fare? With Queen, it's obvious, are Dawkins & co convinced they can change his body and attitude to fitness? Is Queen willing to do the hard graft in this area?

Queen can open up the offense. Who have the Wizards ever had with his ability on the low post?

He's a great passer.

What other 6'10" players have they had who can create their own offense from the top of the key or the elbow

I moved Ace up my board to #4. Tre at 5. His coordination is special for his size. I think alot of issues will be unlocked as he improves his handle. His teammates at Rutgers, outside of Harper were really bad and I think he'll benefit from NBA spacing and NBA quality teammates.

I would try to trade up to 3 or 4 to secure either VJ or Ace.

Danny Wolf can do many of the same things and does not take plays off.

Wildly enough, Ace is starting to grow on me. I think he fits well with this core.

The lineup definitely needs shot creation and shooting. Theoretically he provides that without sacrificing length & defensive focus. Get him working on his handle which will be the key to unlocking his offensive upside as a creator.

I think there are some bigs that are going to fall in the draft as well, both PFs and Cs. So, it could work...
