Explanation for The Poop:

I have a friend who tells me Gilbert Arenas is a team cancer and horrible person. He cites this story as evidence and says "HE TOOK A SH*T IN ANDRAY BLATCHE'S SHOE" every. single. time. the topic comes up as if Gilbert did it for no reason and out of the blue.

Yup, it certainly seems as if Gilbert Arenas is a no-good douche .

It's good to see Gilbert laughing and smiling though.

Arenas, Wall and McGee made the all-star ballot. Interestingly Blatche did not make the ballot.

For the ex-Wizards Jamison, Butler and Haywood all made the ballot. All of them are putting up subpar numbers so far.

Official announcement regarding Wilbon's (inevitable) departure from WaPo for a greater role w/ ESPN/Disney:

http://voices.washingtonpost.com/early- ... g_the.html

While this is not exactly about the Wizards, I know many of you have been dissatisfied with Wilbon's create coverage and/or analysis of the team. But, it's not as if he had been contributing too much as of late (his highly touted World Wide Wilbon subsection of the sports site was largely static).

Of course, we'll still have plenty of opportunity to see Wilbon continue to "not be surprised" by the latest Wizards news as covered by PTI.
Always remember, my friend: the world will change again. And you may have to come back through everywhere you've been.

So Dray threw Gil's clothes in the jacuzzi, and that's worth a poop in the shoe? I don't know, doesn't sound like the punishment fit the crime.

I guess the point is that he didn't just do it out of the blue.

He threw Gil's clothes in the jacuzzi without Gil having done anything to him. I think the clear implication was that Andray had just stepped in some ****.

Based on what I have seen so far this year, this is only one example of many of Blatche dogging it on defense. Although I'm not a Blatche fan, I have remained silent so far this year regarding his play given his injury over the summer. I'll continue to cut him some slack over the next 10 games, but if he keeps it up, I will be bringing the hate back to the board.

Chad Ford
(1:25 PM)
One more note on that. If McGee gets it. That pairing with John Wall will be simply awesome down the road. They will be contenders.

Wouldn't the fact that Turner missed 2 huge free throws and Wall made 3 huge free throws be an automatic "it writes itself" story for someone like ESPN? Because I sure as hell haven't heard anything about that. You'd think the #1 vs. #2 pick story would be a little more attractive....

Kelly Dwyer, of Yahoo's Ball Don't Lie is also singing McGee's praises. I posted the flagrant 2 in the Javale Appreciation thread, but it's really bigger that he's in the national media.

http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/blog/ball_d ... nba-288916

On McGee waving from the ground, here's Dwyer's quote:

It's something you see at the end of a bad action movie, where the hero (bleeding from all over) gives the vanquished a wave as they're carried away, only to collapse again just after muttering something about how they're too old for something or other

Wizards have another hero and the original hero still, plus Wall. :)

Sorry, P'Oed, but ESPN has much more important story lines to talk about. A quick summary from their NBA main page:

Lebron
Heat Players
Heat
Magic (Playing the Heat)
Heat
Heat Players
Dead Infant
Wall (Video only)

Well hey. At least a Wizard is in the mix somewhere.

Well compared to the rest of the rookie class, Turner hasn't been anything to write home about...and he was supposed to be the "most NBA ready." :-?

All the "experts" said he'd be ahead of Wall in terms of contribution.

Wall actually did garner player of the day status on the ESPN Daily Dime, which is the third time he took that.

Did a Wiz board member write this article (Kevon?) I think I may have an email from Kevon.
