Re: Political Roundtable Part XXVIII
That's the thing about Trump believing in the malaria medicine even after the studies show it's far more harmful than helpful - while he has 100% faith in himself, he's a complete imbecile in many ways.
The interesting question is - Does he really take it? I don't know if he knows. Because he's a chronic liar with 100% faith in himself, he often buys into his own lies. I don't think he has taken it, but he might have convinced himself that he has.

President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

Yeah pretty much this. Hilarious how they declassify these innocuous memos but won't declassify the thing they say Flynn was framed over. Trump supporters are simply very dumb and Trump knows this. They'll eat up anything he puts out. Pigs at a trough

I think it's always a good sign when a Republican like Kristol speaks out against Trump. He's got a following, and the more people like him speak up, the more I see the chances for things unraveling for Trump. The Trump curve seems to be headed to the downside, and it could be narrowing fast.

Morning Joe's right, and hopefully people are finally talking about how crazy Trump's hatred for Obama is, because it's hard to imagine there's no racist issue there with Trump. Trumps true colors are shining through.
He's a man full of hate. Smart move by Nancy to push his buttons by calling him morbidly obese - giving him a taste of his own medicine - other than hydroxychloroquine. That got to the piece of garbage.

Like I said it’s a stupid **** strategy. Now on the part of Obama and Pelosi, it’s **** brilliant to divert all of Trump’s attention from Biden.

While I do believe in campaign (finance) reform, this is exactly why I
do NOT believe term limits is a solution for anything. It's inherently
and fundamentally anti-democratic. BHO would have easily beaten
Trump and this whole nightmare of the last 3.5 years would have
been avoided.

If we didn't have term limits Eisenhower would still be President and we'd be living in a police state and we'd still have segregation

Re: Political Roundtable Part XXVIII
https://www.msn.com/en-us/health/health-news/antimalarial-drug-touted-by-president-trump-is-linked-to-increased-risk-of-death-in-coronavirus-patients-study-says/ar-BB14sKRo?li=BBnb7Kz
So 15,000 of the 96,000 patients in this study were actually treated with hydroxychloroquine. For those given hydroxychloroquine, there was a 34 percent increase in risk of mortality and a 137 percent increased risk of a serious heart arrhythmias. For those receiving hydroxychloroquine and an antibiotic — the cocktail endorsed by Trump — there was a 45 percent increased risk of death and a 411 percent increased risk of serious heart arrhythmias.
And this is like the 3rd test of it. I think it's fair to say, this test wouldn't have happened unless Trump kept on pushing for hydroxychloroquine. So he's at the very least indirectly responsible for the increased deaths and heart arrhythmias that happened to real people in that study. And because he continues to be a mark for it (as pro rasslin fans would call it), he continues to encourage more deaths.
Amazing that this isn't fiction.
Edit - I discussed this with my microbiologist friend. He pointed out the 96,000 volunteers - an enormous amount - could have been volunteering on testing other drugs that actually had a chance to work. Wasting 96,000 volunteers is something that could kill finding a good drug. It's such a f'ing horrible waste. And people died and had heart problems because of it... and nobody f'n gives a shyt.
